@pickle it's driving me nuts today I am desp to test - have you caved yet?

@keick @munro I am in training too- do you reckon there is some weird correlation between donor insemination and training skills!!!!Easter Smile

Angliski · 07/06/2017 13:35

Just poas'd - bfn day 12 post iui - patience angliski patience

pickle162 · 07/06/2017 14:24

I have my new dates for next cycle wahoooooooo!!!! So happy!!! They said review meeting everything was as it should be but just didn't work because it doesn't always.
They are going to put me on northisterone so can book exact dates!
They were so sweet to ring me today as usually ring on the Friday but knew I was worrying 💕I love them!!!

Pez82 · 07/06/2017 17:00

Fantastic news Pickle, you can start relaxing now and look after your little eggs.

Munro, you still have quite a few tries ahead, it will work!!

Pez82 · 07/06/2017 17:01

Angliski, sorry I missed you in my previous post. Day 12 is still a bit early, fingers crossed there's a line in the next couple of days

pickle162 · 07/06/2017 17:33

Anglinski agree with pez just keep testing Day 12 still early. Good luck d

Angliski · 07/06/2017 18:43

I have started sobbing. But overwrought. I just want to know either way. Can't stand it. Plus just got a call from our accountants saying we underpaid vat and have a freaking huge underpayment to sort out. #meltdown

pickle162 · 07/06/2017 19:25

Oh sweetheart I totally know how you feel it's such a horrid feeling. Won't be long till you know( altho that last day or two will seem like 2years) even tho I got a negative last month I felt such a relief just to know either way
I'm sorry I can't remember what your circumstances are? Is this first try?
Sorry about the vat bill too-just what you don't need!!!!!!!! 🙄

Angliski · 07/06/2017 20:27

&
@pickle thanks. Second time trying iui after bfp Feb- and then mmc - April - on first round . Private clinic because I am too fat for the NHS even though we qualify. Husband has azoospermia. Booked wedding for march 2018 thinking we would have a baby by then. If it works this time I will have just dropped before the big day. If it doesn't work this time we will prob have a break for the summer xx

Just went running- breathless and farting all the way! The glamour of symptoms. They're ok if they are symptoms but I look like a big of a fatty farty troll if they aren't

pickle162 · 07/06/2017 20:55

Oh yes I remember now. Congratulations on up coming wedding though :)
Haha lovely imaging of farting trolls! Iui's definitely increase the gas front!
I hope everything works out for you (& all
Of us!!)

CautionHormone · 07/06/2017 21:48

Sorry Munro that AF has arrived Sad
I can't even begin to imagine how awful it must be, but don't be disheartened!

LRD that sucks that the cyst is still there! And the sonographer sounded like a right stuck up bitch! Blush how long will it be roughly until you hear something again? Fingers crossed it won't be too long

Pickle yay! That's great news! Must be a relief and better for you now to know everything is going ahead as planned Smile where are you in your cycle at the moment?

Angliski congratulations on the wedding next year! Sounds like you've got a lot on at the moment, but keep swimming Smile

kwick · 08/06/2017 06:09

Well the thing is pickle that they came through a headhunter so were not actively looking. Anyhoo it looks they have gone back to the original lead candidate - who I think will wirk out just fine - and she has verbally accepted!!!! But it ain't over until the fat lady sings!

Another early start for me I am afraid 😴

munro I am so sorry about AF. There is no magic number for IUIs, sometimes it works, most times it does not but if you persevere you will get there! 💐

Haha Anglski!!!

Yay pickle ace news!!!

Ah I see, ok that's different. Well hopefully the other lady will stick to her work and you can start going one job-yayyyyyyyy

Pez, caution, kwick thank you 😊

@Pez82 yeh me and my little Eggs are on a health kick, more veggies and proper dinners, reducing snacks. Going to talk coping strategies with support counsellor and be more positive this time so no hostile environment for the little sperm visitors

@CautionHormone I'm currently CD10, 3weeks exactly to go until baseline scan is booked

I feel calmer already than last cycle (altho that'll prob change nearer the time) but I know the scans are absolutely fine even when on AF, the staff are lovely and supportive, my body responded in exactly the right way but just wasn't meant to be....just got to work on how the fuck can I get the iui to hurt less....mind over matter I feel maybe the way forward.
Also if doesn't work I have sperm already paid for another try, I know dates can be organised using norethisterone so less panicky about work-PMA PMA!!!!!

Suppose should get out of bed and off to work.
Have a good day all......

Angliski hope af stays away

PhoenixMama · 08/06/2017 08:40

Oh Angliski I know all too well that feeling. Fx for you. Whens official testing day?

Loving all of us being on a health kick. I've tried to be good this week and have a decent breakfast and a salad for lunch. Already less bloating which at least makes me feel better.

Keep up the PMA Pickle

How you holding up Munro?

StorkAhoy · 08/06/2017 10:36

hey all - quick q, is anyone using Dhea as a supplement?

Angliski · 08/06/2017 12:19

Hug @munro.

@pheonix officially tomorrow or Saturday but ovidrel was on day 11 which is a bit early for my cycle so may have a few more days to wait beyond that

Karendvm · 08/06/2017 13:57

stork I did. Although for my last cycle I hadn't been taking it for a few months because my clinic said there is some evidence that prolonged used can damage the mitochondria. So they recently mended a break. But because of how long it takes to recruit follicles, anything that you are doing 3 months prior to your cycle is what will affect those current eggs, do my feeling is my eggs were under the influence of the dhea with this bfp

Does that make sense?

StorkAhoy · 08/06/2017 15:22

it does thanks, but as Im looking at egg collection first week July Im wondering if theres any point starting now? thoughts Karen?

Karendvm · 08/06/2017 16:06

Can't hurt. I also did coenzyme q10 400mg.

Pez82 · 08/06/2017 16:38

I didn't do dhea but did CoQ10 along with first liver oil and Maca. Not sure if any helped at all.

Here is mini Pez at 12+3, all healthy and with a low risk of Down and other trisomies. I'm so relieved!

Karendvm · 08/06/2017 17:43

That's great news pez. Glad everything is going well.

Bear1980 · 08/06/2017 18:22

Aww how lovely @Pez82, glad to hear everything is ok

Munrowalker · 08/06/2017 18:49

Sorry guys been mega busy at work and training so staying away. Got home yesterday after fricking bus replacement service and went straight to bed!
I'm not great tbh but I'm busy so that helps I think.
I'm off on a 30mile hike challenge on Saturday that I was a little worried about having AF for so at least now I won't!
I'll take some photos for you all x
Sorry I havnt read all of the other posts...i will go back honest!
And @pez - lovely photo!!!!

Angliski · 08/06/2017 18:57

@pez how wonderful thanks for sharing and inspiring us.

@munro easy does it

Have had a busy distracting day with less obsession so happy about that. Poas this morning also negative but still early.

Just had a chat with a colleague- he saw my ted talk 'how to be a bright shining star' which is about miscarriage and he told me that he
And his wife had seven before they saw dr regan and had two healthy children. He said it made him Cry. I. Just hope it can help People not feel so isolated. So sad - why shouldn't the nhs test everyone for the standard causes of miscarriage early on?

Happy voting everyone!

CautionHormone · 08/06/2017 19:34

Pickle that's great! Smile three weeks isn't too long away either... Although I guess it's still long enough to wait when you just want to keep going! I know I'm sick of waiting for my initial consult already, and I only booked it about three days ago! 😂 It'll be here before you know it Flowers

Pez, great photo Smile 12 weeks has seemed to go so quickly! Glad your trisomy tests come back as low risk, too!

Angliski I hope your BFN turns into a BFP within the next few days!
