No i'm not out yet pickle just planning ahead helps me get through 😜. Got my injection tomorrow and then its the final stretch.

Hope you mamaged to get some more sleep, i have a busy weekend, off to a local family park for my friends daughters birthday today and then highland dancing comp tomorrow. Good to keep busy but missing caffeine 😬

I've tidied the whole house, not perfect as not hoovering until I know whether this little egg has implanted but looks A LOT better!

@PaisleyBE how are things your end?

@pickle162 thanks for checking on me. Full on AF since yesterday morning, usual period cramps, so I'm mostly staying in bed. Yesterday I allowed my emotions to do whatever and today I feel much better. I'm still considering to try to sneak out to CPH in two weeks, but I'm tired already, when I imagine that I would have to drive to a neighbouring country's airport and all that. Given my usual travel anxieties, it would just add stress and that would not help. I think I will try to make the best of those 6 weeks. Gotta plan something!

@PaisleyBE I remember my first IUI and how I thought that would be it. So so so disappointing when that was not the case.

@Karendvm really sorry that your work are being such arses... but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put yourself first and do what you have to do to stay well. I am not sure how protective Canadian laws are to the pregnant mum but even if they are shite you need to stay safe.

Hi there everyone i was hoping i could hop on board. Im 30 trying to concieve my 3rd ttc for 2 months.

Really dont understand whats going on with my cycle right now hoping maybe someone may shed some light.

So im doing home insem with a donor. Last month did home insem with a known donor however that all fell apart and the donor changed his mind after we had done the insemination 😭 so i chose to get the morning after pill as it didnt feel right to lose a close friend despite the torment and pain. The confusion i have is that my last period was 1 week late so my next expected period would be tomorrow however last week i bled for 2 and a bit days very light so i thought this maybe my period so re started it as CD1 however a week later and my boobs are so sore im getting spots on my face and ive been using my opks which are progressively getting darker im on CD7 now so im so confused am i pregnant? Even though ive had 2 bfn or is af going to show her face but then why the darkening opks....im so confused!! My body is all over the place.

Hi Happi - welcome! I don't know if you're pregnant but I do know that the morning after pill can seriously screw up your body for more than a month. You might have had implantation bleeding or that could have been af. What cd would you be on if you hadn't counted the bleed as af? No real advice except to wait it out & see what happens I'm afraid.

Hiya erm id be on cd 27 today due af tomorrow in theory took pregnancy test yesterday and day before due to sore boobs both bfn. I wouldnt mind if i could work out if it was a period or just maybe a random bleed due to map its just so confusing 😂 i figure that if i keep using my opks and i end up getting a positive that maybe that was my period just a lighter one due to it being early maybe 😫 or maybe af will show up who knows 😂

Welcome happidayz sounds like your cycle is a bit all over the place, maybe due to the pill. Might be worth having a chat with your doctor to see if they can offer you any advice. They may also be able to perform some basic blood tests to see what your hormones are doing?

YY, seconding bear about getting some reassurance from your GP. Mine was brilliant about referring me for tests and getting bloods done - it surprised me how much was available on the NHS.

paisley, I hope you're resting well and taking good care of yourself.

I'm just getting over some kind of bug, so I am telling myself it was good the cycle was cancelled as any kind of infection lowers chances of conception anyway. Now feeling quite a bit of what the medics like to call 'discomfort' from this cyst, so I really hope they sort it out for me or that it disappears! And counting the days to next cycle.

happi how did you time your insemination? Were you tracking ovulation then? Sounds like a very confusing situation. Either wait a few more days or go see your gp. Sounds like you could be anywhere in your cycle.

lrd I'm amazed you haven't had pain from your cyst. Mine was 5 cm and I couldn't sit down! Hope it resolves for you. Did they discuss going on the pill to settle your hormones down? That's what they did with me. Meant two cycles out but with the residual pain it was the best plan anyway. Took about 6 cycles for me to not have pain from that ovary.

Hiya last month i was using only opks this month im using clear blue aswel. Yes i dont think my body knows what its doing lol

Well, I've definitely got pain now! I guess exactly where it is must make a difference.

I'd rather not go on the pill if possible as it delays things, and we only have this donor sperm until August. I'm increasingly thinking it's pointless to think that way, but a little bit of me is hoping. And the doctor did say there are different kinds of cysts with different pathologies, so maybe mine is a less painful kind than yours. I'm really sorry you had something so nasty!

happi hi and welcome! So I took the mornings no after pill a few times in my teens-30s (hence why I no longer drink as I was a naughty girl) and my cycle went all over the place for up to three months afterwards.

If you think you re pregnant then perhaps a call to your GP to get clarification with a blood test?
