Still nothing paid for me that's 9 weeks ish. Do they contact you if they want more details? Iv not heard a thing from them since before Xmas when I got a txt to say they were busy. Could really use this money coming in but I don't want to bother them by phoning and taking up there time. 😫

LadyLexy · 25/01/2023 10:36

10 weeks today still waiting on payments heard nothing back since 23rd December, when they said they were still looking at my application and if they wanted more information they would get in touch. Still bloody waiting might contact them today.

So I just worked out I'm waiting 37 weeks for mine... had a text on 13th December to say keep waiting lol. I applied in May for one child under 5, I have a 9 year old too but didn't add them to the claim yet since I was scared that would start me again.

Am waiting on webchat to ask where its got too.

Add the 9 year old. Do it now. It wont put you back to the beginning.

They wont backdate. You only get it from the day you apply so you've lost months of it for the 9 year old.

WeepingSomnambulist · 25/01/2023 14:29

And if you applied in may for the younger one then call them.up. Something has gone wrong. They just dont take that long. Call them up!

Pulltherugoutfast · 25/01/2023 14:41

I got through on webchat, it was processed but stuck on approval stage so they are going to take it to the manager to approve now, said it would be quick. They sent me a link to add 9 year old but said to wait a couple of days until this is approved then fill it in.

I have no idea why I didn't chase it sooner!!

FOXYMORON1707 · 25/01/2023 16:10

I would call if had no contact since receiving the women I spoke to said they don’t mind people calling to check tho they can’t seem to say where you are in the queue or when will be processed. I can’t get thru on web chat just seems to circle for hours and hours. Wait was 45mins for call. Xx

LadyLexy · 25/01/2023 17:23

Thanks

LadyLexy · 25/01/2023 17:29

I got through in web chat earlier today only took 30mins. To be told it’s currently waiting to be processed still & I applied on the 17th of November but I got told it will be backdated from that date for my two older children & they will send out payment details in letter once completed just need to wait. I have took screenshots of screen chat so they can’t go back on what I was told by them, I’m keeping a record of it all.

Shopper727 · 25/01/2023 17:32

I just had a phone call which I missed to them wait 40 mins so speak to someone who told me I need to send ID in which I have just done couldn’t tell me how long from here so who knows

Cece92 · 25/01/2023 19:11

I was told on the 13th I'd be another week or 2 😂😂😂😂

To be fair the 13th is still less than 2 weeks ago?

Mentallydrainedmum · 25/01/2023 21:54

Your payment will be paid on your normal pay date, has that passed yet since the 13th?

Cece92 · 25/01/2023 21:56

I haven't had a payment @Mentallydrainedmum I had to upload a bank statement which I did and they said will be another week for 2 before it's processed. Xxx

Surely they are just stalling people now asking for bank statements etc. why on earth do they need those? They didn't need mine. They have access to everything they need to check if you're eligible Hmm

Yeah I think that too. Universal credit have already completed ID checks etc. They need your banking info. Given when you first applied.

Cece92 · 26/01/2023 08:42

My back payment is pending for tomorrow £250 xxx

Our systems are different from universal credit, we cant verify your identity through UC. Totally seperate

Aw that’s great news 😃😃😃 xxx
