€5.25 on a sandwich and a club milk on my way to steward at a quiz.
Tried to buy an Ash bucket but couldn't find one

ememem84 · 01/03/2020 19:40

Dinner with dm. She’s made three of my fave desserts. I’m no sugar (cake biscuits sweets desserts...) for lent. It’s killing me!

SnugglySnerd · 01/03/2020 19:54

Sorry to hear about dd's nappy rash Em.
Our dd is having issues too. It isn't nappy rash as she is out of them, it's more that she has discovered her bits and keeps poking about and has made herself sore. Not sure what to do about it really. For tonight I have put Metanium on the sore bits thinking it won't hurt and might help and put on a nappy and pjs for bed. If bo better tomorrow I'll phone the gp for advice.
Just about to pay nursery, cc and do massive online food shop. Been waiting until we got paid. Can't put it off any longer!

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/03/2020 20:09

Oh em that's torture. Did you resist?

Ouchy snuggly . Hopefully the soreness is enought to stop her.

£58 Sainsbury's delivery, £5 charity shop.

Fearofawelshplanet · 01/03/2020 20:19

Spent about £70...
45 pound in paint, material and accessories for the campervan interior refurb project (made curtains myself)
15 for hamsters (food, bedding etc)
15 for pillows...much needed
20 mcdonalds...guess who is staying in the rest of the month to do up said campervan, and live out the freezer for a fortnight, fingers crossed. Work has been horrendous though and its an invesment over vodka to drown my sorrows...

ememem84 · 01/03/2020 21:11

I resisted. I had fruit. Mango raspberries strawberries and pineapple. Nice. But not cheesecake nice.

SnugglySnerd · 01/03/2020 21:50

Well she's already up crying. Dh has gone to try and settle her. We had an awful night last night, I suspect tonight will be the same.

lifelongfrugaleer · 02/03/2020 06:51

Oh dear snuggly.
Well resisted em

ememem84 · 02/03/2020 07:54

Dm also sent a massive slab of cheesecake home with us. For dh. Torture. Absolute torture.

Feeling good about resisting though.

Happierwithouthim · 02/03/2020 09:54

I've given up chips for lent em, I don't eat potatoes and try to limit pasta so I eat quite a few chips, done in the halo. Made sweet potato cubes yesterday and have will have rice quite a lot now too. They've never been so tempting. well done em, taking it home for dh is the extreme definition of willpower though Hmm

Yesterday I bought Symprove on 20% off for 4 weeks supply it was €80, I'm hoping it'll give my system a boost, I've been saying I'd get it when sale of house went through. On cc though at present.

Symprove Multi Probiotic Liquid is designed to replace or replenish your intestinal bacteria a blogger I follow takes it and apparently it has done wonders for her mental health and she can't attribute it to anything else.

Mrsmadevans · 02/03/2020 14:10

Afternoon everyone Smile
NSD today but spent 18 in Marks yesterday on food, l had lots of yellow stickers Grin needless to say l have eaten the 2 Toffee Sundaes l bought for 45p each they were delicious Grin

It has been a beautiful day here Smile hope everyone is fine Smile

Mrsmadevans · 02/03/2020 14:16

@ememem84 just read about your Dd nappy rash ahh bless her Flowers Have you tried Cavilon, we used to use it on the Children's ward l used to work on , also we used to leave their bums exposed if possible, when they used to sleep we would lie them on a clean nappy to sleep .
I hope she is much better soon Smile

Happierwithouthim · 02/03/2020 14:37

wolf in the interests of research I'll make waffles this evening Grin

Fearofawelshplanet · 02/03/2020 19:28

Nsd

SnugglySnerd · 02/03/2020 22:00

Nsd here too.

ememem84 · 02/03/2020 22:03

@Mrsmadevansno haven’t heard of that cream. I have made her an appointment woth the dr tomorrow. Dh will take her as he’s got tomorrow off too.

Rash isn’t really easing up much and I think she needs to be seen. Dh doesn’t. But that’s not up for discussion.

£13 boots on water wipes (should have bought these the other day but forgot) and £4 sandwich.

Mrsmadevans · 02/03/2020 23:10

Bless you Em it's horrible when they are in discomfort . I hope she is better very soon 💐

ememem84 · 03/03/2020 06:32

Thing is mrs it doesn’t appear to be causing her any issues. She’s her usual happy self. So it’s more my discomfort at having to clean her etc. Also it’s been a week. So really should be clearing up by now!

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/03/2020 06:57

Doctors is a good idea em. Best getting her checked.
Ended up buying art stuff yesterday ££

Happierwithouthim · 03/03/2020 07:11

These were recipes I used wolf big hit in my house Grinand ds is just having a toasted ham and cheese sandwich for breakfast. He came in to me at 3am, and has been asking since if it's morning yet since. I'm tired.

Loving having a stove in kitchen of rental house, raked over the coals, added a few bits of kindling and turf and hey presto there's a lovely fire. Plus it stays going on such little fuel, think I'll definitely install one in sitting room of my new house.

€23 on bag of coal, bag of logs, bag of kindling and box of firelighters

Booked ddog in for spaying next week too that'll be €150

Morning everyone 😀
Another beautiful day here 💙🌞
Going to Costco , l love going there 😀
Never seem to buy much though I love browsing 😀👍
So may be a NSD but not will see when were there 👍
Em am glad your DD isn't hurting from it bless her. I know what you mean about your discomfort too. Another tip l forgot was, we have send to use cotton wool soaked in tepid water to clean them too. No wet wipes or bathing stuff/creams . Course this may have changed, l was last working on the ward 10 years ago 🤯😀. How quickly time flies. Hopefully it clears up very soon 🤗

Mrsmadevans · 03/03/2020 10:03

Happier l am very impressed with your recipes and resulting waffles 😋😋😋
Was the pan/ waffle maker hard to clean afterwards?
I am always put off by the cleaning of the pans after 🙄😀

Happierwithouthim · 03/03/2020 11:40

MrsMadEvans it's non stick the pans were fine to clean but around the edge of the sandwich toaster was more difficult where I had overfilled it.

Mrsmadevans · 03/03/2020 12:22

Yes l thought that might be so. I get that all the time with the toastie maker . Thank you Happier 🤗
Was in Costco just now , only spent £16 on 10x John West tins of tuna chunks and a 5 litre Simoniz car shampoo & 750g Anchor spreadable butter . Saw these there too 🤗

Day off today, dd had an opa this morning which was fine hospital parking was only £1.70 as we were in and out quite quickly.

Been out to see a friend who has moved to a beautiful big house in the countryside. I was a tiny bit jealous 😬 the dog had a lovely time running around as well!!

It's a beautiful day here today and I've actually hung the washing outside, first time this year!!
