Swings and roundabouts fluffy but I do hope you feel better without it. I think I have another year of this coil, it's honestly taken 2.5 years to settle down. I'll have it replaced on removal, then the next one should do me apparently Shock too old by then for another.

Just need a shower and to make 4 dinners (one done already), and take dc to school. I have a pile of ebay posting, but it's going to have to wait another day. Hope I don't get any shitty messages today!

WreckTangled · 11/09/2018 07:27

Love sorry you're not enjoying the job.

My job is so boring at the moment. None of the paperwork for the new term is ready so I'm literally twiddling my thumbs.

SummerDaize · 11/09/2018 08:30

Em I really like your "offf to work". I also had a rubbish sleep and that just said it all for me.

CurlsandCurves · 11/09/2018 08:34

love hope the job gets better. As time goes on hopefully you can gradually change things, put your own stamp on the place so it’s more suited to you.

em sorry but had to laugh at being woken up by a stuffed whale! Hope you’re feeling better soon.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 11/09/2018 09:01

I had a crap nights sleep as well, not sure why really as wasn't anything obvious. My neck isn't feeling too bad although my arm's aching again, give up! Don't know what to do about work, my sick note runs out today, on one hand I want to go back but on the other I don't want to make things worse.

Dd has been back at school four days and has a cough/sore throat 😑

Such a healthy bunch we are 😯

Contraception is such a pain fluffy I've yet to find one that doesn't play me up. It's one of the plusses of staying single that I haven't got to worry about it 😉

ememem84 · 11/09/2018 09:14

At work. Sigh. So many emails to deal with. But so far no frogs to eat. Yay.

thistimenextsummer · 11/09/2018 10:40

Well who'd have thought it - actually managed to get those three things done and get ready before leaving for work. I need to set my mind to things more often!

The next challenge would be to make lunchtimes more productive rather than just stuffing my face and eating biscuits Grin!

Cagliostro · 11/09/2018 10:46

Crap night here too! And new term germs abound despite not being at school. I am far too tired for the science centre but looking forward to it anyway. Then a restaurant for dinner using clubcard vouchers although with 6.5 of us we will definitely spend on top of that.

Realised we could’ve got a Tesco delivery yesterday instead, but I have done one for tonight (they live really far from shops) and as we only needed a few things for breakfast etc I got DSD to then spend up to the minimum to stock up for when she comes back to uni properly next week. #stepmumpoints 😂 But seriously I do feel better knowing she has food as she isn’t paid until a few days after she comes back

I am admitting defeat and buying nipple shields today 😡😡😡

SummerDaize · 11/09/2018 10:50

I'm glad it's not just me who's zonked then. Good luck Cag.

Wrongwayup · 11/09/2018 11:18

liking the idea re self care
I am good at
water
food - don't like sweet stuff and mainly veggie
exercise
not good at wine( am rather too good at it!)
sleep
think the last two may be linked

ememem84 · 11/09/2018 11:23

House update. Underfloor heating just in the kitchen. So that solves that mystery.

So far today have discovered that a super toxic “friend” and ex colleague seems to have done a number on another colleague and has historically messed up the bookkeeping and accounts for one of my clients. Ffuukkkkk

It was before my time. So is only now coming to light.

She advised on how certain things should be treated. Said she’d do them. Then seemingly didn’t.

WreckTangled · 11/09/2018 11:59

Cag will she use them?

SnugglySnerd · 11/09/2018 12:10

Crap night here too although I'm used to it now to be fair!
Quite enjoying work so far this week. Going to nip to the shops later and buy a load of flannels for wiping sticky hands and faces after meals. Cheaper and more environmentally sound than wipes. I've been meaning to do it for ages.

Fluffycloudland77 · 11/09/2018 12:40

Try Wilko if you have one Snuggly. They might be selling some off and if they are it's super cheap. Mine wash well and the posh ones dh bought aren't much better.

£27 work stuff
£45 tablets for the cat
£15 paint for the main bathroom

Free desperados beer on checkout smart and clicksnap today.

SummerDaize · 11/09/2018 12:51

Snuggly I was thinking of you yesterday when I saw a Mum at ds's dance lesson who had a school age daughter and twins in a pushchair.

I hadn't really though through the ramifications of that combination until I watched both toddlers attempting to eat sandwiches in the pushchair and the Mum retrieving all of the pieces as they gradually disintegrated and fell on the floor. It's a lot of work isn't it? Yikes!

I'm having a quiet day today. Doing nothing, spending nothing. Just sitting. Zzzzz

Thatsnotmybookworm · 11/09/2018 14:04

Thanks for new thread @wolfcub.

Yesterday was NSD.

Spends today:
£4 on a delicious toasted sandwich for lunch;
£3 dressmaker on adding a pin to a top
£4 on new soup mugs.
Also saw some beautiful new boots that I'm very tempted by, but I will be sensible and at least think about it before purchasing.

Cagliostro · 11/09/2018 14:22

Not sure TBH wreck she’s never had a bottle so it will be a new feel (water is in a hard spout cup) and she may reject it entirely. But I’m considering putting them on if she bites during a feed (she doesn’t always, but when she does she tends to keep doing it IYSWIM) never had this issue with DS I just said no, sat him on the floor and he never did it again. Cagletini however 🤔🙄 she’s biting my arms etc sometimes too

Just got her to sleep at the science centre. Now if I can get her in the buggy do I join the others or go get cake 🤔🍰

ememem84 · 11/09/2018 15:35

PRemium bond people have sent me an email asking for more info. It’s online. So I have to log in. With my nsandi number. Which they’ve sent in the post. The info needs to be completed by Friday.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 11/09/2018 15:36

Hi all zonked here too after a poor nights sleep, procrastinated until it was too late to make myself a lunch and only made dcs Sad so €7.35 on twin pack of baps, nature valley biscuits and sweet potato chips.

Eating mahoosive frogs today so lunch was justified. Confused

Just parked in Lidl instead of spending money on parking Grin

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 11/09/2018 15:51

I made it out, went to morrisons for a few bits I can't get in aldi £11.

Popped into poundland £9 and £16 on a large bag of cat biscuits.

Dd not feeling great which is about right as I'm hoping to go back to work at the end of this week!!

SummerDaize · 11/09/2018 16:03

That's odd that so many people are not sleeping well. I wonder if it's the same thing with all of us? I keep waking up at 2am and not getting back to sleep, which is not turning me into a useful citizen.

SnugglySnerd · 11/09/2018 16:30

Yes that sounds like me Summer!

LoveCoral · 11/09/2018 16:46

Going to jump in and join you all if you don't mind. Things are very tight due to unemployment.

Today's Spends: 44.83 on a weekly supermarket shop, plus 10.72 on a smaller shop (mainly offers). I roasted a huge tray of vegetables (brought on offer) which I've now frozen. Also made a potato and turmeric soup and three batches of pasta sauce - all in the freezer for later on in the week.

Aiming for a NSD tomorrow, Thursday and Friday.

QuitelovesStrictly · 11/09/2018 17:02

Welcome Coral we have another Love so it might be confusing Grin

Im sure others will be along with lots of advice shortly.
Have you checked through all your DD-often things run on plus its worth switching utilities etc?
Sounds like you are doing well on the batch cooking.
NSD for me
Cant be bothered to cook much so an omlette tonight .
Peppers, leek, mushroom and a bit of cheese will do it.

Cag I had a biter and I screamed in pain which upset her so much she never did it again Blush
