Oh exciting cankle. Which one did you go for?
Don't, why not excited about the job?
Badders - ants urgh
Nice baby clothes Italian

£8 Morrison's, £30 sainsburys

babsmam · 07/07/2016 19:06

Lilac if you can afford it go for the car. What kind is it?

Tryingtosaveup · 07/07/2016 19:20

Congratulations Don't. Well Done. Even if you don't take it, isn't it nice to be offered. At least you have choices.
The flying ants are the queens trying to get mated. If they do get mated they bite their wings off and go off to found a colony. That's why they all seen to come at once. They are horrible. Boiling water poured over them works if they are on the ground and outside
Wreck, that's terrible about your DH. For all they know he needs that money now.
Iso brilliant for your DS
LSD here £1.20 for some eggs from person with chickens

Badders123 · 07/07/2016 19:24

Ants dead and hoovered up Angry

Sierra259 · 07/07/2016 19:36

Congratulations on the job offer don't. It's a great confidence booster, even if you decide not to take it. Sorry to hear about your DH's wages wreck and fingers crossed for your house offer Cankles

£12 in Co-op for top up and some bits for DH's birthday this weekend, including some muffins I made this afternoon - now I just need to not eat them before the weekend! Confused

DontLetMeLetYouGo · 07/07/2016 20:30

I will take the job. It's doing what I love doing. Just in a different team. Not too far from home though. It just means getting used to another team again.

That's not the reason I don't feel excited though.

The hen do I'm organising is bringing so much stress I feel like telling people to get lost and not bother.

CarbyBarbie · 07/07/2016 20:37

a bit of a spendy day, £15 for dds dance class, £5.00 in the towards a presant for a lady thats retiring at work and £28 in Asda on some bras and socks and underwear for dc.

babsmam · 07/07/2016 20:43

It's a nightmare trying to arrange group events don't. Pleased for you about the job

Canklesofglitter · 07/07/2016 20:58

Yes I hate group events too. Always someone who drinks the bar dry and wants to split the bill!

Congratulations on the job though DontLet

Unescorted · 07/07/2016 21:23

Don't congratulations Grin

wreck that is so pants.

Ipsos we are coping by not thinking about the future too hard. DH has banned me from watching the news all the time. I am also finding it difficult not to go around to my next plus 1 neighbour and ramming his leave signs down his South African throat. No I don't understand either. I am soooo angry all the time which is not good.

North hope you are feeling better.

Ememem84 · 07/07/2016 21:42

CremeEggThief · 07/07/2016 22:00

Sorry Em, but I will be supporting Portugal, in memory of my granny. Pleased it's France and Portugal for the final, although my interest in football is second to Wimbledon. I didn't even realise it was the semis already, until my friend told me! I thought Wales played Portugal in the quarters.Smile

Tryingtosaveup · 07/07/2016 22:02

France for the Frugalleers it is then!
At least this frugalleer.

Ememem84 · 07/07/2016 22:06

creme I would have supported Portugal in memory of the custard tarts I've eaten.
Jersey has a massive Portuguese community.
I've been a bit of s country whore in all fairness. Yesterday I was Welsh..

My dads family are french though and mummy's are English.

We are mega overdrawn now Angry

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/07/2016 07:03

Why does your Dh stay working for him?. There must be a reason.

Ememem84 · 08/07/2016 07:16

I am done with drinking. It's not big or clever. I have a headache and feel a bit sick. Sad

Thankfully I've only got half a day in work today. Then go to get my tattoo redone. Dh is out tonight so he can have the hangover tomorrow. Ha!

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 08/07/2016 07:41

Oh no em!

Well fluffy because he gets paid more than he could earn elsewhere and if we ever needed anything his boss would be there straight away. It's not that he can't afford to pay him it's just that he hasn't got round to it. It pisses me off. If he hasn't been paid (he hasn't checked yet) I'll speak to him myself Dh has no backbone.

Star2015 · 08/07/2016 08:26

Congrats Don't!

Didn't post yesterday as I went out after work. Withdrew £30 but only spent £20.. £2 on tip and £18 on a round of drinks.. I could of got away with not paying for the round as two other people offered but I'm new in the job and wanted to show others that I'm not a sponger..

Had a good night although not sure how I'm
going to get through the day... Soooo tired!!

Have a good one everyone Smile

needastrongone · 08/07/2016 09:00

I would do/feel the same Star re the drinks. Glad you had a good night.

grin at tipsy Em.

Congratulations Don't on the job, excellent news.

Wrecked, as an employer, it's still not acceptable imho. I would not want to breed resentment in my staff, excellent and loyal staff are hard to find and retain.

Going to be a spendy day, as I'm going to town to buy clothes, which I haven't for a very long time. Feeling a bit disappointed as DH was supposed to be coming with me, we were going to have lunch and make a day of it. However, he's gone to Coventry on business..... story of my life... you get used to it... it goes with the territory.. but I was looking forward to it Sad.
