Hello and welcome!
Congratulations on your pregnancies :)
I like Anouk :)
wreck, what did you have to do to adopt Biscuit? He's very cute!
babs, what did I miss, why devastating?

WreckTangled · 26/06/2016 19:41

Nothing really just answer a few questions? It's £85 adoption fee. The had a list of cats they thought would be suitable and let us meet them all. I felt bad for the ones we didn't choose Sad

CremeEggThief · 26/06/2016 19:44

He'said gorgeous, Wreck. An absolute stunner. Lots of photos please Smile.

Babs, I am so sorry you have had such an upsetting and awful day.SadChocolate

SnugglySnerd · 26/06/2016 19:47

Hi everyone - I have a new name!
Welcome Noodle.
I adore the cat wreck - absolutely beautiful! So excited for you.
Had a very spendy day in town. Got my trainers (you can work out who I am now!) and 4 tops (1 in sale, rest v cheap in H&M) plus a couple of winter things for DD that were very cheap in sale. I finally bought a new handbag, I've wanted one for ages. I like it but not sure it's "me" so it might go back.
I have managed one frugal thing which was to make some banana cake out of some very ripe bananas!

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/06/2016 19:53

noodle Dh changed the battery on his using a YouTube video and the suction cup off the sat nav.

Bab I am sorry. You'd think they'd open on a Sunday. Pets always choose the weekend to be ill.

CremeEggThief · 26/06/2016 19:55

Yep, I know who you are, Snuggly. Glad you had a good shopping tripSmile.

Noodlebrains · 26/06/2016 20:04

Fluffy the screen I've ordered has the tools as well. I'm pretty clumsy so there's a chance we'll need them again!

Noodlebrains · 26/06/2016 20:07

wreck he's beautiful. My local rescue had some beautiful kittens on their Facebook page today but my current cat wouldn't be impressed! (Neither would DH but I could win him round!)

Ememem84 · 26/06/2016 20:10

cag my mum mentioned labyrinthitis. She had it ages ago. She said it was like being drunk with none of the fun of drinking. She had it for almost a month

Dad had it too (at different time) but he only dizzied out for a day. So maybe.

Wreck he's gorgeous.
Snuggly, it's gonna take me a while to guess.
8 ddog was poorly yesterday. He was pts today. The vets were awesome. They came after morning surgery and he was in his favourite spot in the garden, in the sun which he loved so much. Heartbroken.

WreckTangled · 26/06/2016 20:38

Oh babs I'm so sorry Sad

babsmam · 26/06/2016 20:44

Thanks wreck, just looked at the insurance and I don't think we are covered either. That was a waste of £205, stupid me for not checking properly, and no doubt a hefty bill is coming from the vet. Never mind it's not about the money in this case.

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/06/2016 20:49

Oh Babs, it would be wrong to move a poorly dog though. You did what was right for him.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 26/06/2016 21:06

Oh babs Sad Flowers

Italian whats your take on the whole EU debacle out of interest? You sound about as European as it is possible to be Grin My favourite girls names are all quite English but Esme was on the shortlist for dd, also Olive and I really like Bonnie. The only Italian name I can think of is Francesca Blush

Cagliostro · 26/06/2016 21:11

Oh Babs Thanks I'm so very sorry. Thinking of you xxx

Italian I love Nefeli, Astrid, Ingrid :)

Cagliostro · 26/06/2016 21:14

Ooh and Aniko

SnugglySnerd · 26/06/2016 21:25

So sorry Babs, pets are part of the family aren't they? Flowers

Ememem84 · 26/06/2016 22:29

I fell off the thread, sorry. RL got a bit too much but has settled down again now. I'll catch up properly tomorrow. I'm angry. Partly with DH for voting Leave then being shocked and dismayed at the resultHmm he's busy trying to convince himself it's not as bad as he thinks the fucking idiot

Anyway, I have a free £7 on my Holland & Barret card to cheer myself up tomorrow. DH bought supplements for his arthritis, can't remember how much that was but it took my points from 70p to £7Grin. We'll be tightening belts as the Leave result has scuppered our plans.

ItalianWiking84 · 26/06/2016 23:26

girlie hi hi we as a family is prop a real eu melting pot Grin
My honest opinion is that I think the eu we know needs to be recreated to a version 2 which fits better with the state of the present and future of the member countries.
But both I and loads I know and the general public is chocked that uk voted leave and I does saddened me when I lot of the background for leaving is based on immigration and the fear of us foreigners. I worked in Scotland for 4 years, paid my taxes and didn't use the system once and yet I'm getting told we steal your jobs and benefits Sad . I fully respect the uk decision but I think some ppl in uk are wrong in believing that their country is so important to the rest of the world that trade agreements will be made with huge advantage for uk and business will lay on their knees to be able to set up business here. Giving that most of the world speaks English today it seems that it is all the other languages that we outsiders that offer that is important for businesses today.
But I do think this next process that is going to happen is going to be very interest him to follow and I sure hope uk is not going to regret.

ItalianWiking84 · 26/06/2016 23:28

Apologies for typos. Have a cat laying on my chest he he

8FencingWire · 27/06/2016 05:58
