Dont, my mum has had great success with the ecigarette. She was a diehard smoker for about 50 years (she started at 12), but has been off them 2 years now.

Ememem84 · 26/06/2016 13:30

dont it's great that you want to quit. I did it in 2007 and have had probably a total of 20 cigs since

It was hard though (I went completely cold turkey) be prepared to feel completely awful and to get a million taste buds back.

I still apologise for my last long post but I want to share a small victory hehe.

I've been using top cashback for a while however always seems forever to pay out. I've just logged on and had £51.25 payable so that's going into my car tax fund.

I'm currently working out my next couple of months budget.

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/06/2016 13:44

Welcome noodle. Is there anything in particular you need help cutting back on?.

Dont Excellent plan. With your new hourly rate and no fags you will be minted in no time. The Alan Carr book gets excellent reviews and is probably available as a free PDF if you google. Sorry about your ex. Your turn will come. I was single 21-27.

£39 on a bag from shoeaholics, 8% cashback and free postage. I need a bag for my nail course to match the tunic I want to buy. I haven't had a new bag for 9 years. They are a lot more expensive than I remember.

creme I couldn't be more excited if I was going with you. You couldn't get a soggy week in Devon for that in the summer.

DontLetMeLetYouGo · 26/06/2016 14:05

Also today I'm ordering my graduation photos. My graduation was over 6 months ago but thought I'd lost the forms until my mum found them yesterday.

Cheapest pack is £33 for 1x large and 2x medium portrait. A large or medium portrait alone is £31.

I can't get over how expensive they are and feel like they rob you with prices they charge. However I want a "professional" photo to remind me of the day and all the hard work that went into becoming who I am today.

Fluffy the rate is for a certain time only and only for a certain area to work. I was considering doing a night shift tonight however though better of it and will wait till I'm more able to drive and go outside. People keep warning me risk of infection etc however when I previously returned to work I still had a small wound.

I think Im going to set saving targets and work out how many extra shifts I need to work to reach these.

I've worked out my debts, my outgoings for next couple of months. I have my DS birthday coming up which he's having a class party. I've written up a basic budget for this. I've also decided rather than give him presents I'm going to give him £40 to do as he pleases. Knowing him he will put this in his money box. He likes saving and wants to be rich by 'earning a hundred pound'. If only ey Wink

ipsogenix · 26/06/2016 15:15

Em does that mean that you now know why you got dizzy the other day? Was it somehow a coldy sinus thing?

I'm having a very LSD because I am glued to the news. Had PIL yesterday which went well. I've been cleaning and tidying madly for weeks and now am very happy to let things get back to the comfy normal state again.

Creme I've had 4 big events in four weeks and have managed them all thanks to your pacing advice. Thanks so much for that.

Huge urge to celebrate by spending money, but I'm trying not to. Smile

ipsogenix · 26/06/2016 15:32

I just found that it's possible to order from TKMaxx online and have things delivered to the shop. That's nifty isn't it?

WreckTangled · 26/06/2016 15:33

Please welcome to the thread biscuit Grin we're picking him up tomorrow

£76 pets at home
£440 British airways (friends will give us half)

All on dh's credit card but we have the means to pay it off.

I had reserved the flights at a certain price for £20 but the website stopped working and so I didn't book them in time. I'm going to call customer services and try to get my £20 back.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 26/06/2016 17:23

Hi all Smile

Dont glad you are starting to feel better and good that you are going to ditch the cigs, I reckon you will be surprised at how much you can save by doing that plus will help your wound to heal quicker.

Wreck £76 at pets at home?? Was that for the cats?

I was in there today picked up a new insulin for boy cat, the vet told me it will cost £74 for one bottle Shock fine while the insurance is paying but God knows how I will afford that once it runs out. Also stocked up on Dreamies, was on offer 6 for £6.

Have spent the day finishing off packing and sorting stuff the other end - big day tomos!! Wish the weather would cheer up though, also realised today that dd has somehow lost two school jumpers Hmm so annoying. She will have to make do with one until the end of term.

WreckTangled · 26/06/2016 17:24

Yep we got everything we needed (and we needed everything)

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/06/2016 17:41

Has he got blue eyes? He looks part Birman or ragdoll.

He's a gorgeous boy.

Alan Carr PDF stop smoking.

WreckTangled · 26/06/2016 17:44

He has yes, they said he's birman Smile

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 26/06/2016 17:50

Oh Wreck what a beautiful cat!! It amazes me that these beautiful pedigrees end up in rescue centres Confused

Have you sorted out a vet that you will use for him yet? Quite a few vets do a pet plan which includes flea and worm treatment, mine is £10 a month but includes all the treatments you need plus a booster and vet check once a year. It def works out good value as the booster alone would be £60!

Ememem84 · 26/06/2016 17:55

ipsos I guess it was sinus related. I'm all snotty now (gross) and dr Google suggested that sinus infections could cause dizziness which can cause nausea. It was like the worse motion sickness I've ever had.

It may not have been. But I'm going for that. Next time I see my GP I'll mention it. adds it to the list

Just back from riding. Such a nice afternoon. There is no way I could have done that yesterday. Too much motion.

wreck beautiful kitty-cat!!!

Cagliostro · 26/06/2016 18:20

Ohhh Wreck Biscuit is just scrumptious! Envy

I don't have any pet photos. I could show you all a picture of the cockroach from the party though. Hmm :o

Cagliostro · 26/06/2016 18:22

Em have a google of Labyrinthitis. I am a dizziness veteran due to my chronic condition, but even for me this was a whoooole new world of dizzy. Like being drunk out of my tree. Antihistamines helped a lot.

WreckTangled · 26/06/2016 18:26

Thanks I love him already!! We know which vets we will be using but haven't been there to register him yet, will do that once we have the paperwork that plan sounds good I wonder if ours has one I'll look into it.

Cagliostro · 26/06/2016 18:29

Aww :)

Just checking my ebay stuff - something I ordered has still not been marked as dispatched, estimated delivery was June 21st... is it too early to start a case or whatever it is?

babsmam · 26/06/2016 19:02

Welcome noodle
Sounds fab cag pleased dd had a good birthday
Don't, that sounds tough.

Devastating day here so we went to Whitby for the afternoon. £13 on chips, about the same in the slots, L£5 parking.
Dd had a party this morning and two of the mums (one I had never met before) were awesome. I've spent most of today crying. Off tomorrow as can't face it to be frank and need to ring insurance companies

ItalianWiking84 · 26/06/2016 19:05

Lovely cat, we also got ours from a rescue center and she's a wonderful lazy but extremely patient fatty cat hi hi.
Been to lidl which was 40£, now we are waiting for a friend of mine who's an electrician to install our new stove which was 250£ on sale. Sold our old one for 15£.
Went to see a friend of mine today and got 2 huuuuuge boxes of winter clothes for baby dd. Our dd was a summer baby so we needed winter stuff. Now we only need a pram, play pen and other bits.

ItalianWiking84 · 26/06/2016 19:08

I'm currently part time sick due to pregnancy stuff, a big annoying but the exstra relaxtation time is fab.
Now we are discussing girls name so if any have some please mention them; one thing is that we are mixed Luxembourg, Italy, Denmark, Indonesia and Netherlands and the name needs to fit in Blush

ItalianWiking84 · 26/06/2016 19:10

Oops 5£ on s body for baby dd saying little sister. She's going to wear it going home from hospital Smile

Noodlebrains · 26/06/2016 19:18

Hi all,
I general I'm trying to cut down on "stuff". I tend to fritter money, never anything much but it all adds up. I'm 14 weeks pregnant and a SAHM with a toddler who's almost 3.

Had a bad day Friday when I smashed my iPhone screen, it would be €180 to fix (DD dropped it a year ago and that was how much it was to fix then), to upgrade would be €230 as there's 6 months left in my contract but DH is going to have a go at fixing it himself so only €40 for the screen. Have nothing to lose really.

I'm saving as we have a big Disney Florida holiday booked for next year.

babsmam · 26/06/2016 19:34

Sounds fab crème
