Huge congratulations Laska. That is brilliant news.

Peppa The voucher used to be £5 off £40 in Aldi but recently they've just been doing 30% off or 50% off certain items and no £5.

NSD yesterday.

NK5BM3 · 22/06/2015 09:08

Well done laska! And what a treat!! Enjoy yourself in Greece. Hope there's not too much unrest in the run up to the decisions.

I'm at work and it is indeed pissing down. Welcome back to the work week. I guess it's better than if it was raining on the weekend when cabin fever sets in with the kids. If it was just me on the other hand, I can do very well not stepping out of the house for 24h!!

Have a good week everyone.

Toying with idea of buying mahoosive 490 wash, box of Ariel from Groupon.

It works out a bit cheaper per wash than Almat but it's a £46 payout Confused

SpottyTeacakes · 22/06/2015 11:09

£14.99 on new wellies for ds (he chose pink ones with cats on!)

£0.63 on a stamp

£6 something on plasters and razors

£7 on Costa.

Forgot my marriage certificate but if I take it the bank will accept my cheques.

babsmam · 22/06/2015 12:03

£100 this morning between food and dog medicine. knocked a couple of Pyrex bowls off the shelves in sainsbury, mortified, offered to pay but they were good about it saying don't worry stuff happens

Should be NSD today as nothing really needs buying and I now cannot move out of house as had to bring home DS from school as he threw up all over his handwriting book about an hour into the morning. No idea what's wrong and of course he now seems ok and is happily watching Frozen.

Great work Laska would love to be debt free too!

Peppa voucher Thursday is hopefully this Thursday when the Mirror brings a voucher for Aldi for £5. There wasn't one last month but I too will be watching hopefully.

Hello, I've been lurking for a bit but I need to join in! Times are challenging tough so I am carefully tracking all spending and watching the spreadsheet in horror. The aim is to get a clear picture by the end of June (will have a full month of info then) and make improvements from then on.

Have started with a few easy wins, like cancelling unused subscriptions/direct debits. Thought I would be unusually domesticated today and be frugal by baking cheese scones from store cupboard ingredients, that I could have for lunch and DD could have as part of her tea. Except Delia's "good pinch" of cayenne pepper is obviously smaller than mine, and although I am enjoying them greatly right now, I can't see DD going for them later. Oops!

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/06/2015 14:16

Collie, how long until you can break contract?

babsmam · 22/06/2015 14:34

Well DS seems to have perked up and now I feel queasy!

Great when I have a load of work to finish...

Welcome Jam I have made the Delia cheese scones too, they are yummy, I put quite a bit of cayenne too but DS doesn't mind a bit of spicey!

SpottyTeacakes · 22/06/2015 16:19

Welcome jam

I think I'm going to do quesadillas for dinner. Yum.

Good that sainsburys let you off the dishes! I always worry about that happening especially with my unruly angel dc Wink

AuditAngel · 22/06/2015 16:46

£2.54 on lunch today. I had an annoying £2.51 off next shop voucher from the weekend. So I bought lunch to make sure I didn't forget it. I wish they would just refund the amount rather than a voucher.

Peppapissinpig · 22/06/2015 16:53

Thanks for the recipe Pointless. I have just got it ready to go for tomorrow - slight adaptation; quorn sausages instead of pieces and small glug of sherry instead of wine (hope the sherry's not going to ruin it).

girliefriend · 22/06/2015 17:01

Hello all, hope you have a lovely holiday Laska Smile

So NSD so far today but taking dd and my nephew to see Jurassic World tonight, its £6 a ticket on a Monday and as am already overdrawn thinking another £12 in the red won't make that much of a difference Blush

PeoniesforMissAnnersley · 22/06/2015 17:12

Hey all! Had a really busy and spendy few days, including my driving test today which I passed first time! Grin
I totally thought I failed because I tried to drive off from the test centre at the very start of the test, without STARTING the engine!!!!! Blush

Then it started raining very heavily and I had to be reminded to turn on the wipers Blush

But I passed, with 7 minors. 3 for hesitation, one for stalling, 2 for indicating too soon and one for braking too sharply. So happy.

Peppapissinpig · 22/06/2015 17:18

Hooray for you Peonies - you must be so pleased. I still consider passing my driving test as a significant achievement!
