It seems that it’s not just the Conservative party breaking lockdown rules.

Shocking I tell you. I think I might need to go back to the crisp sandwich thread, it seems safer (for now, It could turn nasty, but at least we aren't being governed by a bunch of reptile people ... Are we???)

Good for you. Lots of people do find it upsetting though, particularly where people have struggled with not being able to see sick or dying family which I think is understandable and although that wasn't an issue for me I can empathise with their feelings.

Posted on another thread but a brilliant summary of why it matters - 3 million views in a few hours. Absolute gold, very funny and very moving.

I didn't know if I should laugh or cry watching that. It was brilliant.

pickingdaisies · 19/01/2022 13:31

It's it wrong to say how much I enjoyed today's PMQ? Grin

PartyOnKale · 19/01/2022 13:32

What happened today then?

PartyOnKale · 19/01/2022 14:25

I just had a look at news pages and see David Davis has quoted "In the name of God go!"
Bit obvious, but still quite apt.

PartyOnKale · 19/01/2022 14:28

I'm waiting for "Such a parcel of rogues in a nation!"

pointythings · 19/01/2022 14:32

@PartyOnKale

What happened today then?
A Tory MP from one of the Red Wall seats crossed the floor to Labour just before PMQs. Absolutely priceless.
the80sweregreat · 19/01/2022 14:39

Might backfire though , it might trigger a by election in South Bury they said on the radio news today. Would that be the case ?
I'm shocked that nobody has picked up on lbc story yesterday that Carrie moved around too during the first lockdown between Chequers residence and number 10
She was heavily pregnant, so it might have been within the rules , but staff at Chequers were concerned about it , apparently
That has been buried ( or maybe a it's a non story as within guidelines etc etc )
Seems they all did what they wanted to anyway

PartyOnKale · 19/01/2022 14:42

I've watched all sorts of PMQs over the years and I miss this 😔.

PartyOnKale · 19/01/2022 15:12

I've just seen a picture of the turncoat MP wearing a Union Jack design face mask.
It all makes sense if you recall Sir Keir Starmer standing in front of a Union flag recently 😂.
