I think opinions should be taken purely on their scientific merit & actual basis in evidence (of which Steve James has been thoroughly criticised, by both his peers & scientists), rather than someone's ideology/politics or affiliations.
However, it is thoroughly unsurprising and predictable that Steve James is buddies with Laurence Fox, and has been seen cosying up with HART/U4T affiliated MPs and other HART members.
He's just another grifter, benefitting from the (non-evidence based) anti-vaccine controversy he's spreading.
I also think referring to him as "brave" (as both the thread title and Laurence Fox does) is a bit of a stretch. He's a rich white man, raking in the money from a private practice and his partners holistic medicine business. Speaking out against vaccines directly benefits, rather than harms, him and his reputation within the circles he moves.
