I feel myself and family are the only people on earth that hasn't had Covid, everyone I know has had it!

We haven’t, a few extended family have but that’s it.

RachC2021 · 31/12/2021 00:00

Not had it. Of course I just jinxed myself.

Pegasussnail · 31/12/2021 00:01

None of us have had it. Dh tests twice a week at work. Unless we had in unknown to us early on prior to testing.
I've never done a pcr test or antigen

UndertheCedartree · 31/12/2021 00:01

Got it for 2nd time now! Hopefully your luck will continue - it's a horrible illness.

Jasharps · 31/12/2021 00:01

In our family of 6 only 2 of my DDs have had it. DH , other DCs and I all fine.

My mum, dad, sister and step parents have also avoided.

madisonbridges · 31/12/2021 00:01

🙋‍♀️ Me. I've not had it. I know very few people who've had it.

Whoknowsweknows · 31/12/2021 00:01

Nope, not had it knowingly.

Glenthebattleostrich · 31/12/2021 00:01

W haven't either. Fairly certain that it's waiting to strike just before we are due to go on our much delayed holiday in April.

madisonbridges · 31/12/2021 00:03

Um, what's that symbol next to my picture? And why?

Anawi · 31/12/2021 00:03

I felt like that a week ago, now all 5 of is have it! Sad

I still can't quite believe we avoided it this long, I don't in fact with 4 people in 4 different educational settings. I think we must have had it early on before testing was available or mildly/asymptomatically or just missed it with testing somehow!

Gardeningtipsneeded · 31/12/2021 00:03

We haven’t. I work in a tiny room with no windows seeing up to 12 patients a day and haven’t missed a day of work. Both kids been to school throughout. Can’t think of a single family I know where someone hasn’t had it, but we haven’t! So odd. My phone was absolutely blowing up the last two weeks with people just dropping like flies with positive LFTs but nothing here.

CagneyNYPD1 · 31/12/2021 00:03

Me. DD had it in the autumn. DH, DS and me have not had it AFAIK. Never tested positive on a LFT. DS in secondary school. I work with primary aged children. But I suspect that once ds is back in school, it will be a matter of time before he brings it in to the house. But who knows!

WorraLiberty · 31/12/2021 00:04

I tested positive today, although thankfully I've had much heavier colds.

I think I know just as many people who haven't (knowingly) had it, as those who have.

Whitefire · 31/12/2021 00:04

Gov dashboard says 12.7 million people have had covid, so still the overall probability is that you haven't had it rather than have.

Lifeisnteasy · 31/12/2021 00:05

Me. I’ve been going about my business as usual, seeing people, shops, public transport etc. Haven’t caught it yet.

RestingMurderousFace · 31/12/2021 00:06

I've not had it, yet but I'm very low risk. I've spent the last decade actively avoiding people, perfect training for a pandemic.

Potatodrivers · 31/12/2021 00:07

I havent and I dont know anyone who has yet.

blibblibs · 31/12/2021 00:08

We haven't, two DC in secondary school and I work in a medical setting seeing hundreds of patients a week, DH has been WFH.
Test twice weekly, person I share a small room with at work tested positive week before Xmas and still nothing.

Whitefire · 31/12/2021 00:08

I'm fairly similar, not doing anything particularly risky (other than work) but also not actively avoiding situations. So far, so good.

I find this extraordinary. Do you live in a very rural community? Not even friends and family of people you know?
Ragwort · 31/12/2021 00:11

I haven't, none of my family has ... a colleague at work got it (mildly) two weeks ago ... this is the 'closest' I have got to it (& I have been out and about, volunteering with the vulnerable etc since the beginning of the pandemic) no one else at work tested positive.

HoneyFlowers · 31/12/2021 00:11

I just feel it's a ticking time bomb until we get it. My son has been sitting next to someone at school for weeks who tested positive, but he's been fine and my husband works in an office where everyone has come down with it except him.

It's all very very weird. Take care everyone!

I haven't and I only know one person who has had it.

HacerSonarSusPasos · 31/12/2021 00:12

I haven't. Oddly enough the only person in my family who caught it was my grandpa who lives alone in a very remote village (maybe 100 people)

thickthighs73 · 31/12/2021 00:12

I know many people including myself who haven’t
