Triple jabbed and positive, let's have a support/moan thread

So as the title says I'm triple jabbed and tested positive on a lateral this morning. I've had what I thought was a cold for a few days and was testing every day due to seeing family over Xmas and have tested negative until today. Dp is also positive with no symptoms and dd17 is also positive and feels rough. Dp triple jabbed and dd double jabbed. We all have pcr's tomorrow.
So any fellow positive people come join in and let's get through isolation together

Dbl jabbed and boosted, as are xh, dm, df and dsis. We all have it plus dd1 and dn, only one who has escaped is dd2! But none of us are unwell, just mild colds, which we've all worked through before yet I've had to close my business. So frustrated!

I tested positive on lft yesterday and was lucky enough to get a drive through pcr appointment (London) which I'm waiting the results on. Had an itchy throat the day before, mild cold type symptoms yesterday, but feeling really rough today, throat on fire, pounding head, aching limbs, hacking cough and completely lost my voice. I'm keeping an eye on my sats levels using my late husband's pulse oximeter and my son-in-law is dropping off some Tena pads later this morning as every time I cough I wee! I'm triple jabbed, 69 and live on my own.

Woke up yesterday with a scratchy throat. Coughed a bit. DD2 had a runny nose. We were staying away, traveled home that morning.

All did lateral flows once home. DD2 strong positive, me a weak positive (but a stronger later on in the day).

We all (me, DH, DD1 and DD2) went for PCRs yesterday PM, waiting for results.

DD2 has a sore throat and a cough. DD1 also started coughing this morning. DH fine. I have flu-like symptoms.

DH is feeling fine albeit slightly sniffy. He’s currently lifting weights in the garage. I’m not sure it’s a good idea.

@Peanut82 I almost wish we all had it. So hard trying to manage this in the house with 4 of us. Mine and DH’s phones both pinged at 7am .

I know the vaccine is meant to result in lesser symptoms (I know it doesn't feel like that for some) but can a vaccine also help you not get it at all?

Yeah they rang me this morning because of my daughter. They said as she's positive and under 18 they had to get details from me

I got a faint positive on a lateral flow on Tuesday, went for pcr yesterday, still waiting on results. Sore phlegmy throat, headache on and off and blocked nose with a slight cough. I am fully vaccinated, 55 years old with severe health anxiety so not coping too well. My 18 year old dd started feeling unwell on the 21st with blocked ears and congestion, she took 7 lft’s over 5 days, all negative! My 14 year old ds has been blocked up and sore throat since Monday, He hasn’t been vaccinated so I’ve been very worried about him.

Test and trace have been in touch now for contacts. He’s feeling fine , just bored. Going to set him to work in the garden.

PCR results came in earlier today.

As expected, DD1 and DH are negative, and DD2 and I are positive.

Although due to me presenting the wrong test to be scanned at the PCR site yesterday DH is showing as positive and I'm showing as negative.

My COVID pass is back on my App, so I've managed to have another PCR this afternoon to get the correct result recorded against me.

I've completed DH's online Test and Trace form, I was able to amend his name / NHS number to mine.

DH will have to try and explain my stupidity to Test and Trace when they call to tell him he has COVID and has to isolate

DH and DD1 remain negative on LFTs done earlier today.

@cliffdiver DH typed his DOB incorrectly when he booked hisnPCR. Can’t find a way to amend. Will see if Test and Trace call.

I'm trippled jabbed and I have covid right now (for the second time!). First time was in early November. I guess I had Delta in November and Omicron now

day 7 here and just got a negative lateral flow after a positive yesterday. wont be going anywhere till 4th anyway, but relieved to get a negative at least! and feeling much better today although still quite nauseous....

@piscis that’s unlucky! Op I think it’s for the best that you have it together. We’ve made a decision that we have to live our lives so I’m not isolating from DH, we are alone tonight and it would be bloody miserable for him to be on his own so we’re quaffing champagne in front of the fire even though it’s flippin too warm out! DD’s are keeping away, testing negative and are at friend’s tonight. Happy new year fellow posters!

Yes I did. On day 5 now and mouth tastes horrible the first few days. Mints helped!
