So as the title says I'm triple jabbed and tested positive on a lateral this morning. I've had what I thought was a cold for a few days and was testing every day due to seeing family over Xmas and have tested negative until today. Dp is also positive with no symptoms and dd17 is also positive and feels rough. Dp triple jabbed and dd double jabbed. We all have pcr's tomorrow.
So any fellow positive people come join in and let's get through isolation together

It can be a daunting prospect. Try to find something positive you can do during self isolation- I finished knitting a scarf that had been on the needles for ages, read some of my book each day, did duolingo and took up wordle, my mum and dad were very worried about me so we kept in touch daily, other friends checked in via what’s app. And I just took time to slow down.

@soyabean @Plantsandpuddlesuits sorry to hear you are both still feeling so Rooney, I am on day 12 and am still getting headaches and a sore throat and feeling like I have a head cold. I have also been feeling really jittery and anxious, horrible. Due back to work tomorrow am hoping the routine helps me get back to normal.

Me and DH are triple jabbed and currently both have Covid.

He’s on Day 5 (assuming Day 1 is the day you get your positive?) and I’m on Day 3.

I felt really crappy on Day 1 - which I took an LFT - but days 2 and 3 I’ve felt fine. I’m a bit tired with a pathetic cough every now and then but generally I don’t feel any different to how I normally do.

My husband felt awful on Days 1 and 2, starting picking up through days 3-4 and now on Day 5 he’s pretty much back to himself. He’s got a really bad cough but in himself he feels fine.

Our eldest son (8) also has it - he tested positive yesterday morning but he’s fine. He’s got a slight cough but he’s certainly not poorly in any way.

I would like think that as it’s Day 3 and I feel better than I did on Day 1 that I’m not really going to get really ill with this. Fingers crossed.

He’s on Day 5 (assuming Day 1 is the day you get your positive?) and I’m on Day 3.

The day you produced the positive sample, or started having symptoms is day 0.

I'm on my day 5, did a LFD test, and got a very bold line instantly, so appear to be quite a few days away from ending isolation. The kicker is that I caught it just as my kids were ending self isolation, so I've not been out of the house for over 2 weeks already, and could have another 5 days to go.

Joining in, positive lft yesterday bit of a sore throat as Thursday so taking that as day 0.
Would say I have a cold, bored and isolating away from family.
Very annoying as finish job this week was having a couple of days before starting new job week after. So don't get to say goodbye probably, can I stamp my foot?!

I am triple jabbed, and I've already had Covid just in the autumn!
This variant is 'milder'? Not for me. I feel like I've been hit by a bus. Last time all I really had was tiredness and a headache.

Hello, I’ve tested positive this morning. I felt it come on late yesterday. My ten year old was quite unwell on Friday but tested negative- she’s positive this morning. Neither of us is now feeling very poorly.

Benjispruce5 · 23/01/2022 20:33

@PaperMonster what did you feel coming on? I keep feeling I’m going to be positive and then not.

PaperMonster · 23/01/2022 20:53

@Benjispruce5 late afternoon yesterday I suddenly got a cracking headache, a swollen throat and a bit of a snotty nose almost all at once. I was surprised to get the positive tbh. I felt much worse having the super cold last October- I couldn’t get out of bed for three or four days then. I’ve been pottering about today although mostly I’ve been on my bed reading, and I have had a nap! Fingers crossed it doesn’t get any worse!!

Benjispruce5 · 23/01/2022 20:56

Hmm DH got a sudden sneezing attack and a stuffy nose before new year and tested positive. I didn’t get it. Now we have an outbreaks at work and I haven’t tested positive but keep getting headaches and on and off sneezing etc but still negative.

PlantWitch · 24/01/2022 22:45
