Day 3/4 here (positive LFT and cough on Boxing Day evening). So far my symptoms have been: day 1 and 2 very dry cough and tickly throat. Day 3: blocked sinuses, headache. Day 4 (today): runny nose, sneezing.
Thankfully I haven’t had any body aches, vomiting or extreme fatigue - I’m tired but DC are not sleeping at the moment so don’t think that’s a Covid symptom!
So far fairly mild for me thankfully. I had my booster 4 days before testing positive so may have had some extra immunity I guess.

@Workinghardeveryday

I am now on day 8/9.

Thought I was getting better a couple of days ago but now a bit worried. Everyday I am more tired. If I do anything other than lie in bed it is too much and I get very dizzy after 10 minutes and so tired. Just want to sleep all day.

Made myself make kids tea last night and it totally wiped me out.

When will this get better?!

I felt so much better day 8 and did some work at home on day 9 in the morning though felt wobbly in the afternoon. 10-11 the fatigue has been awful. Also tongue issues.

Im taking it very easy from now on (as much as you can with small children; and the house needs a lot of work) and will take a view on an extra week off after the weekend.

I'm perimenopausal and have asthma; recently started hrt but I don't think the hrt seems to have any positive impact according to Dr Newson so I'm not risking longer illness by hurtling back into daily full on life till I know I can get through a day at home without lying down.

I tested positive on Tuesday. Felt absolutely dreadful until yesterday and now on day 5 I am up and dressed, pottering downstairs. All aches and pains are gone, I am a bit snotty and I still have a terrible dry cough and tight chest but I al a million times better than I was.

EllaPaella · 05/02/2022 14:31

@Workinghardeveryday sorry to hear you are still feeling so bad. A couple of my friends who had covid recently were like you and totally wiped out for over a week, unable to do much else other than sleep. Both finally got back to normal after 3 weeks but still finding they are a bit more tired than they were before.

SmellyOldOwls · 05/02/2022 16:23

Day 10. Lingering cough and stuffed up nose, tests still very positive! And I have dry peeling skin around my nose but otherwise fit and well Smile

I was extremely dizzy yesterday on day 9.
Covidwoes · 05/02/2022 19:39

Day 8. First LFT negative. Very tired and emotional. Coughing badly at night. Flu like symptoms have all subsided though thankfully.

Number109 · 05/02/2022 21:45

Day 5, really tired and have a headache, positive lft. Day 6 for DD who complained of stomachache overnight.

Moff2k · 06/02/2022 13:17

Day 2 here.
I only tested yesterday because I'm NHS. If I really think about it I have a mild sore throat and a sort of spaced out feeling, but other then that I never would know.
I'm really hoping I continue feeling this way

EllaPaella · 06/02/2022 15:49

Day 6 - feel almost normal apart from being tired. I'm a bit bunged up and my cough is still going but much less frequent now. Still getting really strong positives on my LF.

mulberrybag5 · 06/02/2022 16:16

Day 5
My head feels like I’m dehydrated and I feel tired

Number109 · 06/02/2022 19:59

Day 6, much better, lft still positive. Still a slight headache.

Moff2k · 07/02/2022 08:19

Day 3 I feel weirdly ok. The slightest of runny noses but barely and I'm a bit tired/foggy.
Nothing else at all. I would never have known if I had tested.
Keep waiting for it to hit ?
I've now got a week off work Wink

Moff2k · 07/02/2022 08:37

Ok I feel so normal bar a very slight runny nose, that I tested again. I'm negative?! On day 3 ????

EllaPaella · 07/02/2022 08:58

Lucky you @Moff2k! Am envious as still testing strongly positive here on day 6 despite feeling ok now. My son tested negative on day 5, it's all very strange how is varies so much!

Number109 · 07/02/2022 15:10

Day 7, lft still positive, still a slight headache and stomach feels weird but pretty much back to normal.

Moff2k · 08/02/2022 15:23

Day 4 - haven't tested since yesterday's negative. Slightest runny nose, bit tired, that's it. Still would never have known.

EllaPaella · 09/02/2022 19:30

Day 9, still positive on LF Sad
Feel ok, still coughing. Tired and got weird aching muscles in my bum and thighs which is worse at night but otherwise ok. Looking forward to freedom day!

penni00 · 11/02/2022 06:10

For those having Covid mildly, anyone only had one vaccination. I only managed one due to very adverse side effects, and am therefore really concerned about catching Covid

Riser · 11/02/2022 08:16

Day 5 and feel normal. Days 1-3 were rough. Will test later and see if I'm negative.
