Literally everyone posting about refusing the boosters now after he back and forth with restrictions and the government breaking the rules etc! I can't believe it!
Anyone else seeing the same thing?
I wonder if it is like this in other countries who have reintroduced restrictions etc.

This is not my view btw, I'm happy to take my booster but obviously very annoyed with new restrictions too. So hope my sons Nativity isn't cancelled :(
@nordica I'm sure under 40's can book their booster
Not yet. Over 40s only

HopeYourHighHorseBucks · 08/12/2021 22:07

I'm surprised to learn some of my family and school friends work for the Russian government tbh, I saw one of them working at B&Q last week. Busy busy.

The latest shenanigans from the government have caused this. Hopefully it sticks but I doubt it, they seem to be able to brush it under the carpet quickly. Throw out a few snappy sentences and people will keep parroting it. Stay at home, bring wine and cheese, protect the NHS.

2WeeksTillChristmas · 08/12/2021 22:08

Refusing boosters are only effecting them
Boris really doesnt care!

Overthebow · 08/12/2021 22:08

No I don't have any anti-vax friends thankfully.

DreamingofTimbuktu · 08/12/2021 22:08

My social media is people pleased to now be able to book their booster

HariboMaroon · 08/12/2021 22:10

@Overthebow

So you think refusing a booster makes you anti vax?

After two vaccines, a bout of covid I think I’ll survive. I mean if someone came to my house and jabbed me whatever but it’s not even worth the petrol for me now.

MatildaJayne · 08/12/2021 22:10

What a weird thread! So many people refusing to get a booster to ‘get back’ at the government? I don’t get it?

Iggly · 08/12/2021 22:11

No such nonsense on my social media. But I have blocked almost all the idiots including the q anon nut jobs.

Reminds me of my mum who voted Brexit to get back at Cameron. I mean come on.

restrictions will never end the goal posts continuously move and our Government lies and lacks integrity. So no more. We will not comply
onewayanother · 08/12/2021 22:13
@onewayanother but why? Don't you want to be able to protect yourself as much as possible?
I'm young, no underlying issues and had covid before I was double vaccination and it was fine. I had it as I was told it protects others and in order to end restrictions. I was lied to and I don't trust our PM anymore

andi62 · 08/12/2021 22:13

I'm double jabbed and I've just had covid, becoming a human pin cushion (non stop top up jabs) is not very appealing.

HariboMaroon · 08/12/2021 22:13

@MatildaJayne

I’m not “getting back” at them. That would be silly,
like they would give a shit.

I just do not see much of a benefit to myself for getting a booster.

Double vaxxed, early 30s plus a natural asymptomatic bout of covid. I wouldn’t make a special effort to get a booster no.

MelonTits · 08/12/2021 22:14

@milly74

i have had my booster but would have cancelled it if waiting for appointment. There is no point, vaccination or not. restrictions are here to stay on an on and off basis
Why would you cancel it?
DramaLlllama · 08/12/2021 22:15

Ffs - we’ve been asked to wear masks and work from home. Its not bloody lockdown!

Iggly · 08/12/2021 22:15

We will not comply

Now you just sound ridiculous.

JurgensCakeBabyJesus · 08/12/2021 22:15

Most people i know are keen to get a booster regardless, maybe people where I live just love a freebie!

onewayanother · 08/12/2021 22:15

Oh Boris does care. I lost count of how many times he said we must get our booster. That's why he has upped the scaremongering about this new variant...to make more people get the booster
TortolaParadise · 08/12/2021 22:15

Please refresh my memory; when the vaccines were first rolled out, were boosters part of that announcement/government narrative?

Nothing is closing down. People have lost all sense of perspective.

It's not to get back at the government. It more, there is no point. The young were told if they had it, restrictions would end. They were lied to so I can see their point I'm not wanting the booster

Iggly · 08/12/2021 22:16

No because they didn’t realise that the vaccines wore off.

It’s called fucking science. Science learns new things and adjusts accordingly. It’s not religion which is stuck in its ways for thousands of years.

nocoolnamesleft · 08/12/2021 22:16

The government is made up of mendacious cunts. But I was delighted to receive my booster.
