Just that really. Interested in seeing, from the cohort who responds, which of us have actually contracted Covid, at this stage

Yes, just recovering. Got it 3weeks after my booster and was really unwell.

It is likely I had it at the very start of the first wave. I wasn't tested as it wasn't really rolled out, ended up sick with pneumonia then.

ceeveebee · 29/11/2021 22:26

Got it right now, on day 3. DC had it a few weeks back, DH currently negative but wouldn’t be surprised if that changes as I haven’t really been isolating within the house (think he’d rather catch covid than to cook for us all…)

HesterShaw1 · 29/11/2021 22:29

Yes, I had it in August and DP has it now

toddlermom · 29/11/2021 22:38

Yes 21 months ago and still have full natural immunity! (I get an antibody test every month out of interest),

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHaands · 29/11/2021 23:23

@MrsJamin

Yes in September. Do you doubt the figures? I know lots of people who've had it in the last few months.
No not doubting. Just wondering. I work in social care and there seem to be more positives cropping up now than at the height of the pandemic.

I had it last week. A random positive PCR amongst a lot of negative LFTs and subsequent negative PCR. DD and DH did not get it. I was asymptomatic and worked from home. But bizarre but accept that I had it as a positive PCR is presumably not to be argued with. (I'm triple vaxxed, obsessive about hand gel and have never stopped wearing a mask in shops)

Yes. Very recently

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHaands · 29/11/2021 23:26

Yes, in October. No symptoms but positive pcr ( taken after track and trace contacted me)

hopingforabrighterfuture2021 · 29/11/2021 23:31

Yes, in September this year. Confirmed with PCR.

Itsnotallaboutyoubaby · 29/11/2021 23:37

Not that I know of. Would it be worth me getting an antibody test? Anyone know of a reliable one?

Theoldwoman · 30/11/2021 00:00

Definitely not, and I don't know of a single person in real life who has.

TheElvishQueen · 30/11/2021 00:04

Not to my knowledge.

wanttomarryamillionaire · 30/11/2021 00:06

Yes in April 2020. Didn't feel ill just coughing constantly and really breathless.

WaterAndRichTea · 30/11/2021 00:08

No

Im CEV and still being VERY careful

jenkel · 30/11/2021 00:08

Yes, me and dh, dh had it really mild, barely knew he had it, completely knocked me for 6, both double jabbed, 6 months after our 2nd jabs, two teenage dds in house didn’t get it, one double jabbed over 18, one single jabbed under 18.

WaterAndRichTea · 30/11/2021 00:09

@Theoldwoman

Definitely not, and I don't know of a single person in real life who has……..

Really? How?
I know absolutely loads who have had it and 4 that have died of Covid

DramaAlpaca · 30/11/2021 00:11

No. Not me, DH or any of our adult DC.

LemonJuiceFromConcentrate · 30/11/2021 00:12

Yes, I’ve had it and so have my kids, ex-DP, and various members of his extended family.

It was via primary age children, it’s recently been all through the local schools.

Icanflyhigh · 30/11/2021 00:20

Nope

Mynameisthecatwhogotthecream · 30/11/2021 00:24

Yes August, felt really ill for about 10 days but probably about 10 weeks before I was really right, longest symptom was jelly legs, my thigh muscles constantly felt like I had done a 10 mile hike, very weird

Bubbublish · 30/11/2021 00:25

Hospitalised for 10 nights in August with covid and pneumonia, recovering slowly

Mynameisthecatwhogotthecream · 30/11/2021 00:26

Oh, and I was doubled jabbed( January)

augustusglupe · 30/11/2021 00:29

Yes, both me and DH. March/April 20. We both lost taste and smell for 6 weeks. We felt rough for about a month, but there was about a week during that time when we both felt ill enough to stay in bed.
DH also got a temp, I didn't. Neither of us got coughs.

northernstars · 30/11/2021 00:32

Me and DH currently. Both double vaccinated but hadn't been offered the booster (Ireland). We're the only ones of our friendship groups to have it though.

Northsoutheastwest76 · 30/11/2021 00:40

No all my extended family have somehow avoided it bar two 2 Teachers and 1NHS staff.
Tbf DH was shielding and still WFH.
