Just that really. Interested in seeing, from the cohort who responds, which of us have actually contracted Covid, at this stage

OP posts:

No. It's a baffling illness. My dad is in his 70s and he only knew he had it cos he had a routine test before a hospital procedure. No symptoms. Then his wife didnt get it despite living together and oblivious to him having it.

He's the only person in my close family who we know has had it.

Loads at work got it last year cos they kept meeting in person despite the govt advice

CrunchyCarrot · 29/11/2021 19:54

Yes, in July 2020.

Visitors · 29/11/2021 19:54

No, not that we know of. DH and DS have worked in a factory throughout, DD has been in sixth form and a part time retail job and I’ve partly worked from home but been back in the office full time since May.

I’m amazed we’ve not caught it - none of my office colleagues have either.

samthebordercollie · 29/11/2021 19:55

Yes in May, all 4 of us had it, me and the DC very mildly (sore throat, loss of taste and smell) DH spent 3 days in bed with hot and cold flushed and terrible headaches.
Although I had it mildly, I still can't run like I used to. I'm breathless more easily and my cardio higher 🙁than it was. Racing is out of the question for the moment.

BurntO · 29/11/2021 19:55

Yes 4 weeks ago

changingstages · 29/11/2021 19:57

Yep, in the first wave. What are you hoping to achieve from this thread?

petshihtzu · 29/11/2021 20:07

Yes in June. I'm young tho and was completely fine bar loss of smell and taste for months which still haven't come back 100 percent. I hadn't been vaccinated at the time

ponkydonkey · 29/11/2021 20:08

Eldest had it , best friend had it... in fact everyone I know but me 😬

Mummyme87 · 29/11/2021 20:09

Yes twice, asymptomatic last year, I’m assuming early.. only reason I know was because I had positive antibodies in autumn 2020. Then symptomatic Christmas 2020, was like I was hit by a truck.

cinders222 · 29/11/2021 20:10

Yes - have it at minute. 10 day isolation ends tomorrow

Coughee · 29/11/2021 20:10

Yes twice. Once in the summer and once last month. My husband and 2 daughters have had it too.

oneglassandpuzzled · 29/11/2021 20:11

Me, my husband and my adult son.

Walkacrossthesand · 29/11/2021 20:13

Yes, feb 2020 2 weeks after first jab. Sneezed a lot and felt slightly under par for about 3 days. No-one I was in contact with, vaccinated or not, got any symptoms during the mandatory isolation period.

cinders222 · 29/11/2021 20:13

Meant to add I had no symptoms. 9 year old had headache 2 days and husband lost smell and had headache and felt a bit rubbish for 4 - 5 days.

AllTheSunshine · 29/11/2021 20:15

I'm having it now. How I've managed not to get it before is beyond me considering my job.
I'm very thankful for the vaccinations because it's nasty enough having been double vaxxed.

RaininSummer · 29/11/2021 20:16

Yes in August. Very mild. Actually just getting over a bad cold which was worse.

Eviebeans · 29/11/2021 20:18

Had it in October-still don't feel fully recovered-taste and smell still not back to how it was before

CouldThisReallyBe · 29/11/2021 20:19

Yes 3 weeks ago and one month before my booster was due. Feel absolutely fine now except that my smell hasn't returned 100% (I can smell some things and not others).

Thehogfatherstolemycurry · 29/11/2021 20:20

Yes, have it now. Feel a bit rough but not too bad, am double jabbed

snocopops · 29/11/2021 20:21

Yep.
5 weeks after my second vaccine.

TripleSeptic · 29/11/2021 20:22

@catgirl1976

Yes. 4 weeks ago. It was awful

Honestly think I would be dead if I hadn't been double vaxxed.

Snap. It was rough
Midnightstar76 · 29/11/2021 20:30

Daughter had it now and really hoping I don’t pick it up from her

Jenster03 · 29/11/2021 20:33

No I haven't. Neither has my DH and DD.

It's crazy really considering my DD goes to nursery and I'm a primary school teacher.

middleager · 29/11/2021 20:36

Yes. It'd be easier to ask who hasn't had it round here. Most people I know have!

mamaduckbone · 29/11/2021 20:37

Yes, in September, double jabbed so thankfully mild symptoms
