People refusing the vaccine why do defensive?

I know a few people refusing the vaccine.

Whenever it comes up in conversation they her VERY argumentative, even though I haven't started any arguments and am actually quite respectful of peoples choice to not take it.

My question is, why are those not taking the vaccine getting so weird about it? If you're going to decide not to take it you should own your decisions.

Also people not taking it appear very entitled - want their cake and eat it. Still want to go nightclubs but still don't want the vaccine.

Can't have it both ways, you're also not being forced. I have no idea why people not taking the vaccine think this?

Anyway just a rant based on a recent disagreement with a family member.

The past year or so has really shown how some people are absolutely desperate to control what others can and can't do. Quite terrifying really.

Couldn't agree more. It's really brought it home to me just how easily we could become a society with similarities to, say, 1970s East Germany. So chilling.

It's this kind of hyperbole that makes people roll their eyes and wonder if your tin foil hat is on too tight.

hardly surprising when people keep having a go at them about it all.

@BigGaz alright whatever you think is fine... my question is why are you so bothered? You wouldn't go to the insane asylum and start copying and pasting all over their walls... so why bother with us? Too many women with opinions for your liking? Genuinely curious at what you're trying to achieve here?

Being called selfish, vile scum. Murderers, disgusting. Stupid, uneducated.

People wishing death, disablement and withdrawal of NHS services for them. Wishing them unemployed, ostracised and constant demands to justify their medical choices.

All things that are likely to provoke a defensive response imo.

@BigGaz I think you'll find Twitter, Reddit and other forums an absolute cesspit of trolls and bottom feeders

And yes... There may be plenty of crap threads here but ultimately, it's a place for (mostly) women to come together and discuss. Yes there are some vile threads that pop up from time to time *coughs but overall if you don't like it why are you here?

It's not like your threads full of abuse and ranting on and on are gonna be up long enough to read anyway. And the manner in which you're doing it honestly makes you come across as an absolute loon wearing a tin foil hat...

And ultimately You're wasting your time... if you want to troll somewhere, pop onto Twitter, you'll actually have an entertaining night full of trolling and vitriol there
