@MercyBooth no but I'm carrying books and resources around (including musical instruments like keyboards).
for a few minutes you are.....our job is physical as
@MercyBooth
says......up and down aircraft steps with boxes, lugging 25kg of sand across pallets or into trolleys, moving stick timber and sheet timber as well as sheets of plasterboard around....all 2.4 metres long. 10 litre paint pots off pallets onto shelves

all with glasses steaming up and falling off or masks riding up due to the sheer movements. would you do a HIT class wearing a mask? no

its the same

gardeninggirl68 · 12/07/2021 17:29

i'm glad its personal choice

megletthesecond · 12/07/2021 17:29

purple not asking staff or customers to wear them. (Unless exempt of course).

AnyFucker · 12/07/2021 17:30

I am forced to at work

When I am off duty, no

Monkeytennis97 · 12/07/2021 17:30

A few minutes😂 I wish.

Brokenrecord3006 · 12/07/2021 17:32

No, I can't wait to be able to go into shops without wearing a mask.

Yumyumicedbuns · 12/07/2021 17:33

Yes

Blueskytoday06 · 12/07/2021 17:36

No.

NotSonicTheHedgehog · 12/07/2021 17:37

Depends. In crowded indoor areas and transport probably if lots of others are too (if it was just me would be pointless) If me wearing one made someone feel better I would too. Not really worried about myself but more for others

MercyBooth · 12/07/2021 17:38

masks are to protect others going by whats been on here.

MercyBooth · 12/07/2021 17:39

sorry that was to @Monkeytennis97

secretllama · 12/07/2021 17:40

No

SirVixofVixHall · 12/07/2021 17:40

Yes.

oneglassandpuzzled · 12/07/2021 17:41

I will wear a mask in crowded indoor spaces or where I have to stand close to other people. Also outdoors when I am COVID-vaccine checking-in and I really hope they make masks mandatory. We will be checking in mainly youngsters who obviously haven’t been fully vaccinated and who are more likely to have delta if they’ve been socialising freely. I feel staff and volunteers need protection. It’s very different from checking in elderly people back in winter who’d barely left their houses for months.

nordica · 12/07/2021 17:41

Absolutely and an FFP2 mask in particular as that will protect me from all the maskless people too.

Oblomov21 · 12/07/2021 17:42

No.

BlueBlancmange · 12/07/2021 17:43

Yes in indoor public spaces.

XenoBitch · 12/07/2021 17:45

Didn't wear one anyway (exempt), but I hope the ending of the mandate also means an end to to abuse for not wearing one.

IceCreamAndCandyfloss · 12/07/2021 17:46

Yes for work and indoor places we can’t avoid.

HelloMissus · 12/07/2021 17:46

I’ll use my common sense.
Going into doctors surgery = yes.
Going to toilet in a restaurant = no.
Tube = yes.
Chichester Cathedral with two visitors in the entire place = no.

IcedPurple · 12/07/2021 17:48

No.

Monkeytennis97 · 12/07/2021 17:49

I'll be wearing (as I have daily since September) an FFP3 mask. New one every day. Cost me a blinking fortune but worth it imo.
imaginethemdragons · 12/07/2021 17:50

Yes. Absolutely yes. And SD still 100%.
The numbers are surging here amongst the non/partially vaccinated.

The science says that masks protect people around me by up to 80%, will protect me by 50%.

I’ve waaay too much at stake to risk getting a positive test.
I am double jabbed but just too much risk for others for me to get it.

TheGenealogist · 12/07/2021 17:50

@lollypoppi

Oh I'd love to but in Scotland and no chance she will ditch the masks 😒
Me too. I will be ditching them the very second we're allowed to.
Tinpotspectator · 12/07/2021 17:51

Yes
