Make sure you write that on your mask. And/or on your forehead.

Just so that everyone knows what a Kind and Good Person you are.

Don't be so childish.

So people who have worn them till now, but are no longer required are selfish righty ho.

Didn't take long for the name callers to come out.

Well I'll just have to be a selfish twat then. It's either out without a mask, or inside for evermore feeling more and more depressed. So tough, I've one life.
Snailhaterz · 12/07/2021 19:03

Wherever I'm asked to (by individual shops, galleries, theatres etc), and wherever its crowded and indoors. But not when there's no logical reason to do so - eg on a quiet station platform, or an empty train carriage. Sometimes I'd rather wear a mask as a trade off for other social distancing relaxations - eg if a theatre/cinema wanted to stop social distancing in its auditorium (so it could actually make some money) that would make sense to me.

DrDresaid · 12/07/2021 19:04

We've all been told today that we must wear masks at work until they tell us otherwise.
I won't be wearing them anywhere else.

AntiMaskersAreTwats · 12/07/2021 19:04

It’s true though isn’t it? They are selfish twats. Although the law of masks is gone the guidance is to wear them in crowded places. People who are saying no they won’t wear them are only thinking of themselves, thus selfish twats.

Daisy829 · 12/07/2021 19:06

Yes I’m shops and crowded spaces I will, certainly over the winter & probs into next spring whilst we see what’s happening.

SageHoney · 12/07/2021 19:07

Yes. I'll still wear one when I am (or reasonably expect to be) within 1.5m of someone outside my household. I don't have any expectations of anyone else to do this, though.

Yip, I will only think of myself, or else my family may loose me due to mental health.
YarnOver · 12/07/2021 19:10

Nope

Contrary to what most maskers say, they are only worried about their selves thus selfish twats

motherrunner · 12/07/2021 19:11

@Ginandfantalemon Not being facetious but why would your family lose you because you have to wear a mask? I wear one 6 hours a day continuously at work except for eating and drinking.

Dancingalong · 12/07/2021 19:13

Nope

brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr · 12/07/2021 19:13

Yes, because I want to contribute to keeping the spread of this virus to an absolute minimum. Why would anyone not want to do that ?

Good thing your opinion is of no consequence whatsoever.
Theworldisfullofgs · 12/07/2021 19:14

Yes, particularly after what's happened in the Netherlands.

rubbletrouble · 12/07/2021 19:14

Yes, I think the more that do the better.

Ginandfantalemon · 12/07/2021 19:16

@motherrunner
They cause me so much anxiety I have been unable to go out for a year because of them. If they are not mandatory I get a chance of doing normal things again, like getting my weekly shop, going out for a meal. If they remain mandatory I really don't know how long I could live my life the way it is at the moment. It's like a prison sentence and I'm so sick of people who can wear them assuming everyone is the same. I'm ruining my families life and they dont deserve it.

FairyDust123456 · 12/07/2021 19:18

Nope, it's th one thing I'm looking forward to!

WheresMySnackPack · 12/07/2021 19:18

Yes. Its stupid to lift restrictions at the moment.

@Ginandfantalemon Anxiety is horrendous. I’m the opposite. I was over anxious when I couldn’t wear a mask in the classroom and I’m starting to feel anxious again about September.

XenoBitch · 12/07/2021 19:23

@AntiMaskersAreTwats

If your family is really going to ‘lose you’ over mask wearing then you’ve obviously got a severe mental health problem and would be exempt anyway. Confused
I have known of mask exempt people who have not set foot in a shop since masks were mandated because they are scared to death of the abuse they might get. That is not a way to live.

I just hope that your views on people not wearing masks stays in your head, and that you don't confront anyone. You have no idea what others are going through or how long they have been waiting for the mandate to be lifted so they can get out and do more things.
