If you got a message saying you had been in contact with someone who has tested positive and were asked to self isolate, would you?

yes but only as well as ever I probably would have done, which means < 8am & middle of night walks. I live on edge of miles of country. I would go insane trying to not leave our property for 10 days.

I was the only one of a group that had the app last week when we were all
in a bar . I was pinged and followed the instructions to isolate , the others in the group all carried on as normal despite being with me when we were exposed .
I have completed this isolation , deleted the app and will now longer isolate when there is clear evidence the track and trace system isn’t fit for purpose .

I recently quarantined after a trip abroad. I took 4 tests to come back/after coming back. I had people knocking at my door checking I was in. I was a prisoner in my home, not even allowed to go for a walk.
I'm now sitting on my sofa watching the crowds at the England game and feeling like a complete and utter fool.

If it was from the app then no, but I would do a pcr test.

The problem with the school bubble is that it’s automatically everyone from that year group. When actually, the child might well have had very little contact with the positive child.

No. I pretend to scan the QR code, if I'm asked for my details I give incorrect ones. What an utter farce were made to dance to this shit whilst there are however many thousands of people mincing about in a football stadium. No way.

Even my 17 year old son did the right thing and isolated off his own bat. The furthest he has been since t&t was the back garden. Some selfish people on this thread saying no.

If test and trace contact you it is still a legal requirement at the moment so yes I would. I've never had the app though so wouldn't be isolating because of that anyway.
