I don't think it will happen, for the reason that vaccination rates for people in their 30's looks to be plateauing under 70%

Considering how much this age group go to pubs and restaurants, it would have a huge impact on profits.

My view on this is that is to encourage vaccine take up. I don’t think it’ll actually happen. Similar to double jabbed not having to isolate and go on holiday. It’s the carrot approach

Well then that’s me not going out. Given how much we eat out there are one or 2 pubs and restaurants that are going to have a sizeable chunk of their income missing.
Still we should be able to save a lot.😀

I own a hospitality business and I've no intention of doing this. Even if it was "law" how am I supposed to enforce it? How am I supposed to be able to tell if someone's proof of vaccination is real or fake? Totally unenforceable.
But the likes of accountants, solicitors, etc have to see I’d proof such as passports etc with no training or other resources to check if real or fake. It’s not your job to check against fraud, you only have to check it looks real, not whether it is real.
