Antibody Tests available to Zoe App Users

Just a heads up in case anyone is interested, I just registered to receive a free home Covid antibody testing kit due to being a Zoe Covid app user.

I’ve just realised that I posted my sample back when outside temps were over 25. I don’t know how I missed that . It was an hour before post was due to be collected. Presuming the sample will be void? So cross with myself.

Mine came in the post today but it’s so hot I am waiting to actually do it.

I was invited to take an antibody test by the Zoe Covid app a couple of weeks ago. The test came and I did it and returned it, but now ten days later I still don't have the results and I can't find anywhere to chase them up. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Got my results on Saturday. They were negative which I was fairly surprised at. Had been a close contact (tiny unventilated room) and prior to that had cold symptoms (obviously it was just a cold) Gives me some good assurance my jab is working

I filled all that earlier and it still said I couldn't have one! Very annoying! 😡

Anyone done one of these in the past week or so? Just trying to work out if mine got lost in the post or whether they are taking a while to send out the results?

@southoffrance I posted mine last Tuesday and have not yet received a result.

@BanginChoons also posted mine last tues and not received the results yet. maybe staff shortages due to summer leave??

Same here, posted last Tuesday and no result yet.

I called NHS (119?) & they didn't have anywhere they could chase it up with as its done separately to the PCR tests etc, but said their guidance said average of 7 days, occasionally up to 14 days. If you don't get your result after 14 days then you can order a new test.

So I guess wait and week then re order if nothing comes through by then. Its reassuring we have all had ours take a while though, perhaps you are right Bells they are on their summer holidays.

Did mine about a week ago. Result back next day - positive for antibodies.

I’m sure I had COVID in March 2020 (at beginning of 1st lockdown) but the antibody test said likely in the last 6 months. I’m guessing the 6 months is because that’s as long as they currently think antibodies last.

I had very mild symptoms in March 2020 and none since, positive for antibodies in both September 2020 and June 2021.

Mine just came back exactly a week after I sent it off. Unsuprisinglg it's negative

Well I got one last week and one part was faulty. I have tried to report it via 119 and they said they could not help to send one out and could not report the damage? Very frustrating!

Dinnertime can you just go back to the government link and order a new one?

It is not letting me do that now?

My antibody test was negative even though I had a positive pcr test in January so I was a bit worried that the vaccine wouldn’t work either but I was asked to do an antibody test by Covidence to see if I had antibodies from the vaccine and fortunately I did which was really reassuring.

Hmmm , sent my test off last Wednesday , still no results
Not sure what to do now

Result back this evening, so took about 9 days.

No antibodies ( not unexpected )
First one was back in 23 hours though ! lab must be busier now

23 hours, impressive! Yes must be busier now, perhaps they've sent out more invites.
