Genuine question for anti-Vaxxers

So I have a question for SOME of the people who are against the vaccine.

It's not really relevant for those who don't want the vaccine as they don't believe it's been tested enough and don't want to be injected with something they don't know enough about. That's not my personal view but I can at least understand the rationale behind it and see why it would out some people off.

However, I've seen more & more people posting online about it being a 'conspiracy' and the government conning us all into getting the vaccine to suit their own agenda. This is what o can't get my head around. Do some people believe the government are trying to inject us with something negative to achieve some other hidden objective? If so, what do they think they're trying to achieve? Is everyone that's had the vaccine going to be wiped out? Unable to re-produce? Be tracked but some strange fluid in our bodies??

I'm not trying to antagonise anyone, I'd genuinely like to understand what people who believe the vaccine is part of a conspiracy, believe the conspiracy is?

There is also Chinas response, they clamped down very very hard, to a virus which apparently no one knew about, why did they do that?

But i believe China knew exactly what CV is capable off.

I think it's an extreme case of coping mechanism. The fear is so great so their brain is tricking them to believe something unbelievable for most people.

I completely agree!

You find the same where people blame all Muslims, foreign people etc for things like terrorists attacks - they can’t comprehend that someone is so cruel but by blaming a group of people it’s a way to control the situation to feel more safe.
This situation is completely out of anyone’s control and it’s been so different and quite scary that people have to find some way to cope by finding some control/sticking their heads in the sand.

I home educate my children where a lot of families are already suspect of authority so see a lot of this and have had a few conversations about it. I think a lot of it is because people are isolated and vulnerable and desperately want to believe that they know the truth, like religion I suppose. It's comforting to think you know all of the answers when we're not told everything by mainstream media and the government and we can see that the governmen haven't handled things well. But it really worries me that there is a serious racist undercurrent. A lot of these groups set up are lead by the far right and are using it for political gain. Vulnerable people who think they have found a community of acceptance just don't see this are are pawns to a much bigger game.

@Longtalljosie

A pet microchip is the size of a grain of rice. Injecting it is a pretty unpleasant shock for the animal. It’s more like a staple gun than a needle. And that’s just to allow a readable serial number
That's what I'd thought. Surely there's no way that of the millions already vaccinated there would be someone who had noticed?!

@SamanthaChumbaMumba

I've seen people who believe that the vaccines a re part of a de-population plan, either by making people infertile or by shortening lifespans.

Others believe that there are tiny microchips inside the vaccine. Ideas on what those chips will achieve are varied.

I've seen this too. I've finished having kids, have a couple of chronic illnesses which will probably finish me off a bit earlier than expected anyway and surely a microchip will only enhance my phone signal? 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

@SamanthaChumbaMumba

I’ve just told you what I know. This is your theory to prove.

No answer, huh? Wink

Plus, these aren't my theories to prove. I don't need to prove anything.

No, sure. Nobody who believes in lab theory ever does, so I’m not surprised you don’t have any answers.

So just to clarify for those who think some is a conspiracy - are you saying that the virus is real but was deliberately released? And that the vaccine has been designed to kill people?

If i want my mind boggled, i come on these sites and read the conspiracy theorists. Quite entertaining i might add.

@SamanthaChumbaMumba

No, sure. Nobody who believes in lab theory ever does, so I’m not surprised you don’t have any answers.

I didn't say I believed it, I said it was looking increasingly likely. I posted the link to Fauci's emails which are the reason I think it's looking more likely. You're as able to look through them as anyone else, and draw your own conclusions.

I'm not going to write you a 1000 word post about everything I know, because I don't particularly care what you think, especially as you're someone who asked 'why would anyone want to cover up a lab leak'.

Oh, you said you would! There was a bit of and a bit of eye-rolling to imply you were too important for it, but you did say you’d explain it.

But now you cant, after all that. As I said though, I’m not surprised.

I've had the jab and the needle is tiny. Didn't even leave a mark. No magnetic microchip business going on.

I said I would if you wrote out everything you understood about the things I asked you to. You didn't!

If you do, I'll promise I write back as many words Wink

I don’t have to - this the theory you think is more likely. Lab theory is more likely, lockdown was a waste of time if it’s man-made, WW3 is imminent...
kiddo5467 · 02/06/2021 20:33

@SamanthaChumbaMumba

I have, yes. I’ve spent a lot of time on these boards. Fire in.

You tell me what you know about each of those, first, in detail, so that I don't go over what you know already.

If you don't I'll say 'No answer, huh?'

This is my problem with the whole thing is that nobody can give a straight answer. Anyone who believes the conspiracies seems to want to prove they know more than everyone else and that they're in on some big secret that the rest of us don't understand.

I'm not up to speed on it all but can't seem to get straight forward answers from anyone who has an alternative view without them trying to bamboozle me!

I'm trying to understand it in lay-persons terms. Kinda like a "covid conspiracy guide for dummies" - but as soon as you ask for the simple version everyone backtracks and says "oh it's far too complicated to explain from the beginning, you'd never understand if your not already heard of x, y or z" 🙄

If any of you are interested in the origins of SARS-COV-2, then you should listen to this discussion between well-known and published virologists in the This Week in Virology series. None of them think it was made in a lab. It's just shy of 2 hrs long.

@SamanthaChumbaMumba

Is this too difficult a conversation for you that you have to ?

Pretty much, yes! You just seem so far behind...

This is your exact quote about hampering investigations:

Which for me spells huge concerns about all sources who dismissed it outright and hampered investigations.

Yes, I was wanting you to specify, but perhaps I should have realised that as as someone who asked 'Why would anyone cover up a lab leak?' I was giving you too much credit.

What difference does the origins make to lockdown etc?

Again, to me, this to me is a question on a par with 'Why would anyone cover up a lab leak?'.

So again, what’s your answer to these questions?
SomeKindOfFloppyWeirdo · 02/06/2021 20:48

@Bluethrough

If its a totally natural virus, why hasn't it ever appeared before?

You’ve never heard of a coronavirus before? Like sars, mers, and some forms of the common cold? (All highly transmissible viruses btw, and all coronaviruses.)

If the whole sars and mers panic passed you by (as it might have done if you didn’t live in/travel to Asia and never watched the news), then at least cherish the fact you’ve probably had a coronavirus before - just a cold though, rather than covid.

And new forms of viruses emerge aaaaalll the time. A new avian flu has just been discovered, for eg. It has a different name to other kinds of flu, as it has a slightly different structure.

Much like covid 19 is in the coronavirus family, but with a slightly different structure to others in its family.

@SamanthaChumbaMumba but most of these have been scientifically proven to be true. That’s the problem, there’s so much fake news out there everyone believes the rubbish All anti vaxers I know get their ‘science’ from social media/YouTube. Try reading some actual scientific reports and papers on the subject, rather than a meme on Facebook. Coronaviruses have been around a long time. My cat had a type of coronavirus, it’s wasn’t COVID-19 though, just one of many viruses that are already in existence.

@SamanthaChumbaMumba

I've had a glance through the emails that have been made publicly available

I haven't seen anything hugely alarming or that he didn't say in public

What exactly were the big reveals here?
