@RedcurrantPuff

*Agree withall of this. I'm in my late 50's so know loads of people who have the vaccines. Not a single one has been ill enough to be seriously inconvenienced let alone have health consequences.

The worst was my sister in law who felt nauseous for a couple of days. I only had a sore arm for over a month with my first and absolutely nothing with the second.

I am very sceptical about posters who know lots of people with life changing disabilities after the vaccines. Very sceptical.*

I agree. Only on MN do people make such a song and dance about it all. Everyone I know has gone for their vaccine when called without making a fuss, not fussed about which vaccine they get, and aside from relatively short term short shittiness have all felt fine. I have reported my episode of gout under the yellow card scheme. Time will tell I guess If it was linked. Gout is certainly linked to vaccines in general

My friend breezed through her first Pfizer and was terribly ill after second one, as were many of her colleagues
RedcurrantPuff · 30/05/2021 23:05

More people I’ve heard of were worse after second dose of Pfizer or first dose of AZ. I was worse after second dose AZ, trust me to be different.

I don’t
No
He has worked throughout the whole pandemic with covid patients and has been really well throughout

shewalkslikerihanna · 30/05/2021 23:07

Many of the surgeons he works with wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole

That’s good and I hope it remains so. But it doesn’t change the fact being obese is a huge risk for many health problems, not least Covid. As I say I am very overweight myself and I feel so much safer now I’ve had the vaccine. I also know a number of medics who have all had the vaccine so the opinion of those surgeons would not be universal apparently
AntiHop · 30/05/2021 23:39

I'm 43 and had my first az. I know loads of people who've had their vaccines. I had no side effects, same with most of my friends and family. Worst was a couple of people I know having flu like symptoms for a couple of days.

MercyBooth · 07/07/2021 02:15

He is still getting texts from the NHS to go for a second jab and he is lying in a NHS hospital paralysed. This is how impersonal it is. It's wrong on all levels

You don't half get some bollocks posted on here.

Confirmed today - she died as a result of complications from the AZ vaccine: www.theguardian.com/media/2021/aug/26/bbc-presenter-lisa-shaw-died-of-astrazeneca-covid-vaccine-complications-coroner-finds

You should post it as a new thread @southeastdweller ... quite surprised at the radio silence over here today about this :(

What do you want to hear? We already knew why she died.
Geamhradh · 27/08/2021 17:26

@paddyk

Because then everyone can go warp speed scared about the vaccine.

It's very sad, but the article linked to states 78 people out of 50,000,000 doses of vaccine have suffered blood clots. Which is actually LESS than would be expected to suffer some form of thrombosis/clotting in general with that massive number of people.

Seeing as when my brother in law was hospitalised they were trying anything not to put down as vaccine, such as flights not moving ect I doubt the figures of 78.

@Kenwin

Dear young mums. As an 80 year old who has questioned and researched. I ask you all to look at a packet of say paracetamol and look at the extensive notes. What is in it. Who should not take it. Side effects. What to do if you have side effects. Etc Was anybody given any details before they had this jab? As my dear so wish mum used to say. There are none so blind as those who do not want to see. Find out about Dr Sam White who has been struck off. Also go to uk column ( official uk website where you will find easy access to the yellow card details. Keep in mind even the gov say it only shows 10% of adverse effects and the silenced scientists say nearer 1%. Love to you all and please protect our beautiful children and pregnant mums. Mar
Sam White was struck for a) spreading misinformation about coronavirus and vaccines b) using this misinformation to profit by directing people to his business in alternative medicine.

He widely repeats Yeadon's claims (ie, coronavirus vaccine wasn't designed to protect you from coronavirus, it's just a way of causing mass depopulation and all people who were vaccinated will be dead in two years). In his latest gofundme he also claims his bank account was "hacked" and thousands of pounds stolen Hmm

UK column are just another mouthpiece for Yeadon et al and have been promoting misinformation and pseudoscience for the last 18 months. The yellow card details are available widely, this isn't secret info UK column have got their hands on - they just misreport it to assume all reports are causal.

Can we have an ounce of critical thinking please.
