Where would you have moved to? Italy - where they had patients lieing on hospital floors? France? In lockdown again. Germany? Lockdown about to happen again and hospital beds full. Madrid? America? India? Brazil? China is probably fine now, but living in China has its own downsides. Try being a Christian or a Uighur there. Every single person in every country (with the possible exception of new Zealand and Australia) is sick of this pandemic and people are marching and swearing blue murder that their governments have made a pig's ear of everything. If the grass looks greener over the fence, it's usually because it's regularly sprayed with (ahem!) manure.

Nothing horrendous is being asked of you. It is to keep the numbers low (although with everyone rushing out to get their highlights they won't stay low for long) and protect us.

Where to start with such utter bullshit? Not horrendous? Being asked to put our lives on hold for over a year isn't horrendous? I guess it's ok then, for kids education to go down the drain, people's mental health to fall apart, the elderly be forcibly isolated from their families in the last months of their lives, jobs and homes sacrificed, basic human rights be taken away.

Do you think it makes you look sensible and well balanced, posting things like that @MaryBoBary ? Only coronavirus matters in your world then. Carry on 'protecting' yourself if you like, don't expect everyone else to carry on living a half life to protect you though.
