Blood type and side effects of vaccine?

Just a quick straw poll as we've been having this discussion at home and wondered if there might be something in it.

What blood type are you?
Did you get a lot of side effects from the vaccine?
Which vaccine did you have?

A+ age 56, AZ vaccine. Had tiredness and flu-like symptoms that started about 6 hours after having it. Fine after 24 hours.

Gastontheladybird2 · 02/04/2021 19:06

B+ az, ridiculously tired the day after, but no other side effects.

Twoforthree · 02/04/2021 19:07

O neg - mild side effects the day after. Head felt similar to when I actually had mild covid

Twoforthree · 02/04/2021 19:08

CarriMarie · 02/04/2021 19:13

Sore arm for about a week, no other side effects

Panpig · 02/04/2021 19:17

B negative, and I had the AZ one. Had a slightly achy arm and maybe a tiny bit tired for a couple of days! Was pleasantly suprised

JamandHoney · 02/04/2021 19:20

O Pfizer tender arm after both jabs, nothing else.

Sprongles · 02/04/2021 19:21

A positive AZ vaccine. Fatigue and pains in legs

PickleSarnie · 02/04/2021 19:30

AB+, 45 years old, AZ vaccine. Absolutely no side effects whatsoever.

RedToothBrush · 02/04/2021 19:49

This is interesting so far. Obviously very very unscientific. Its a little difficult to group but I've put into three categories. Yes I am doing a spreadsheet.

If you've ever donated blood you would find out. That's how I know.
EvilOnion · 02/04/2021 19:54

B+: Pfizer.
1st dose - sore arm, quite tired.
2nd dose - nothing so far (only had 3 hours ago though)

FrankieFalcone · 02/04/2021 19:58

A Negative

Pfizer vaccine

No side effects, arm was just achy when I lay on it the night of vaccine

Oneearringlost · 02/04/2021 19:58

I've never heard of the correlation between COVID and blood type. Do you have a source?

JackieWeaveristheboss · 02/04/2021 20:01

O Neg- had AZ sore arm with shooting pains in legs and hands. 2 days of extreme fatigue and headache. No temp or chills.

MyBug · 02/04/2021 20:02

O+ AZ terrible side effects.

HopingForOurRainbowBaby · 02/04/2021 20:05

A rh + couldn't get out of bed the following day. Splitting headache, could hardly lift my arm, raging temperature and my legs felt as though someone was pinching the muscles in my thighs as hard as they could. My legs were that painful I had to fold my duvet over to give my bed more padding. The next day much better just drained

ShowOfHands · 02/04/2021 20:05

O+ and AZ, no side effects.
DH is B- and had the AZ, headache and fever for 24hrs.

thelonggame · 02/04/2021 20:08

0- , had the AZ first jab
A day and a half of feeling like having a flu. Cold shivers, temperature, tiredness. Kicked in 10 hours after the vaccine. Fine again 48 hours after the vaccine.
