Why do those that have decided to have the vaccine feel the need to take to Facebook and document the fact?

They’ve had an injection, not saved a family of 5 from a burning building. I just don’t get it.

I have it on my profile. I was excited to see colleagues ( Nhs) getting the vaccine way before me. Every person vaccination reduces risk. It's a collective effort.

Lots of people i know are vary of the vaccine. Educated people who I would expect to be chomping at the bit to get it are citing rumours they have heard. If it helps one person be open minded it's good.

@Abraxan

If you post about being away whilst actually being away using the where you are feature and get burgled, then lots of Insurers won't pay out on your claim.

This isn't actually the case in most cases, especially with private closed accounts. It is, however, an urban myth often quoted.

If, however, you can post of any examples where this has happened to someone posting in a closed, private social media account which has been upheld then feel free to post it.

Generally speaking I take my advice from reputable news sources rather than some random on the internet.

You need to take reasonable care in keeping your property safe, using the location check in feature can invalidate this.

@ChocOrange1

Also I'm pretty sure that's not what the word "guttural" means.
You're right, it doesn't. I think it's the adjective to describe the sound at the beginning of letters like 'g'.

Nothing to do with gutters.

Why do you care? If you see something you don’t like on FB then just move on. I’m happy to see my friends getting vaccinated.
