*Should he not be encouraging people to go book on the website now they have lowered it to 42?

*Why is he standing by a mobile phone? Isn't that what you do for a house phone or does his house phone do texts?

That’s open to misuse. We (me and my son) had our second vaccinations at the weekend). We took our original cards to be filled in but for speed the centre were issuing a new one with just the second dose info already written on and we were told to fill the info of the first dose onto it ourselves, so we actually have two cards each. It’d be easy to pass one onto someone who isn’t vaccinated.

So would I Pom but there’s absolutely nothing that’s officially identifying on the cards and they were handed out without names written on at our centre so would be easy to pass on to someone else.

I dont think they are that concerned tbh - they want the tourist £££. We went last year and stressed over the entry form that HAD to be submitted by a certain time and include certain information that MUST be 100% correct or else you WILL be sent back. Wasn't even asked for when we arrived 😒

Also, if current uptake rates continue then I guess there won't be that many unvaxxed travellers to make it worth trying to administer?

After checking all day I'm finally booked next week and end of July so if vaccine appointments are a thing for Europe I'll be fine. Still not booking any holidays just yet though.

I think it will be a big deal/a big sign when people can accompany or visit those in hospital! I haven't heard any speculation about when that might be.
