Hello, any over 40s being called yet (by age only) and if so whereabouts (roughly)?
Thanks

Every area is getting through their lists at different rates. Very happy for those in their 40s getting their jabs! Still waiting where I am.. hopefully in next six weeks I reckon 🤞

ItsIgginningtolooklikelockdown · 13/03/2021 16:09

This is painful to read (though I'm happy for you!) I know people in their 60s who haven't had theirs yet, I know of no one in their 50s who has. Scotland.

HorseChestnutTree · 14/03/2021 22:07

My daughter has an underlying health condition, she has heard nothing from her GP so went online to book it instead, soonest appointment she could get was 3rd April. That seems really late for her category, they should be well into the over 50's by then.

Gertie75 · 14/03/2021 22:15

Dh is 51 and booked in on Thursday so it shouldn't be long until they're in the 40's category, I'm in Staffordshire.

ArtemisiaGentle · 14/03/2021 22:21

I am in my 40s and have a minor heart condition. I'm getting my first jab on Tuesday. This is in London.

Acesulfame · 15/03/2021 00:27

I’m 43 and was called today. No idea why but I’ve got myself booked in. In the North West.

Acesulfame · 15/03/2021 00:30

@cyclingtowardsbethlehem

40 here and just been offered it (but vaccination centre not GP). Weirdly the text said 'underlying health condition' but I categorically don't have one. Do all the texts say that?! I'm in London.
Mine also said that. I have no idea what it’s referring to because I don’t have one. Only thing I can think is it either childhood asthma (that I have no problem with now) or the fact I was hospitalised with pneumonia about 15 years ago (which I have no long term effects from).
Ultimatecougar · 15/03/2021 00:45

They're still doing over 65s here. North Wales.

I was thinking the same! Really happy for everyone who’s getting theirs, but Scotland does seem to be way behind. Still doing 65+here. I looked on the calculator and mine is likely to be June for late 40s.

@LookToTreblesGoingTreblesGone

Students at Bristol University are apparently being called now.
They might be, but that doesn't mean they have vaccinated the general population yet. My daughter's partner has had his due to being vulnerable. My daughter is early 30's and is still waiting for hers.
EatingAllThePies · 15/03/2021 07:44

Late 30s here and had it at the local centre. Yorkshire, the GPs are getting through fast but those who are older than me who need to attend the distant national centres are still waiting so I do feel I've somewhat jumped the queue!

sandgrown · 15/03/2021 07:46

Violetlavenders · 15/03/2021 09:26

Yes, lots of 40-50 year olds being called this week here!

Pootle40 · 15/03/2021 18:35

DH 47 got his letter today. Jag Friday. Not a frontline or care worker. Wfh for a bank. No medical conditions at all. Scotland

Pearl97 · 15/03/2021 18:37

Nottinghamshire is actively asking the over 40’s to book!

WombatChocolate · 15/03/2021 18:53

Any news on Surrey and over 40s please?

IcelandThree · 15/03/2021 18:56

52 in north London and not texted/able to book yet.

Goldieloxx · 15/03/2021 19:17

I'm 40 got called last week, no health conditions, just a speedy surgery

Goldieloxx · 15/03/2021 19:18

Should add I'm in Birmingham

Squeejit · 15/03/2021 19:20

My brother, 47, had his on Saturday in Lancs (Preston). I’ve not been called yet but I’m a spring chicken at 44.

phlebasconsidered · 15/03/2021 19:22

In the fens here,49, asthmatic, a teacher. Nothing. They are still on the 60's. I've been told no for my asthma, and it'll probably be June.

All the vaccines seem to be going to cities. I'm in a hotspot too - my rural rate is higher than parts of London.

Keepyourdistance000 · 15/03/2021 19:56

Parts of Wiltshire/Somerset now onto 40-49 age group - had my text over the weekend.

KitchenFairy · 15/03/2021 19:57

Yes, 43, Lancs

Pastanred · 15/03/2021 20:50

I’m lancs kitcenfairy where bouts r u?

WombatChocolate · 16/03/2021 18:12

I assume no-one has booked in 40s on the national booking system and all those booking of that age have been asked via GP led services and then gone to their more local vaccine centres?

Some areas seem ahead. It’s often population demographic which makes the difference.

I assume the national mass booking centres and pharmacies are still only vaccinating over 50s, except where they are using up left over doses at the end of the day. Some areas have a lot of no-shows sadly.
