So daft but for me.....IKEA.

I want the familiarity of being corralled around the warehouse, picking up some tea lights and sandwich bags and some meatballs.

I miss IKEA.

Ooh yes another one for primark, always get their fuzzy socks and comfy bras. Could do with a top up. I miss the big shopping centres in general, I love a day of browsing the shops and grabbing a coffee or lunch somewhere.

Juliancoped · 13/02/2021 12:10

Fopp in london for movies, uniqlo not sure what would be left.

Crimeismymiddlename · 13/02/2021 12:13

TK Maxx, Primark and sitting in a cafe after.

Rainbows2021 · 13/02/2021 12:17

I want to go to hotel chocolat .. Particularly the one in New York.

Davros · 13/02/2021 12:24

Liberty

dementedma · 13/02/2021 12:25

Charity shops, garden centre, massage place

MondeoFan · 13/02/2021 12:34

TK Maxx & Home Sense

As soon as it's open I'll be there

DollyParton2 · 13/02/2021 14:26

Primark for their amazing socks for me & kids - I just can’t hand over my ££ for rip off prices at practically every other retailer’s socks, that arm’s half as soft or nice designs as Primarni.
Same for their pants. M&S socks/ knickers even cheapest are 3 x the price and really not very comfortable.
Now you’ve said it- going to IKEA would be an absolute dream right now! Love eating in the cafe & having a wander.

Chocolateandamaretto · 13/02/2021 16:10

Clarks - kids all need new bloody shoes and I don’t trust myself to measure! They’re all living in wellies so hopefully we’ll be able to go before it gets too warm out!
And not a shop but massively missing the local library, ready for some new reading material.

time4areboot · 13/02/2021 16:17

Charity shops & TK Maxx

MissDollyMix · 13/02/2021 16:22

I can’t wait to go back to London. Live 2 hours away and normally visit every couple of months but haven’t been since Christmas 2019. Miss it so much! Looking forward to a lovely long mooch around Fortnum and Mason, Liberty, anywhere in Covent Garden... hell, I’d even settle for taking the kids to Hamleys!

yumscrumfatbum · 13/02/2021 16:25

Homesense and Ikea

Isolatedizzy · 13/02/2021 21:29

God HomeSense! I'd actually forgotten that existed and it's one of my favourite shops!
I cannot wait to be back in HomeSense! Or Home none sense as DH calls it! 😀

ThatDamnKrampus · 13/02/2021 21:39

Dd1 loves charity shops so no doubt that will be pur first stop. I also need to kit out dd2 at primark, she has shot up and everything is half mast!

I'm personally not too fussed about shopping though looking forward to being able to do some voluntary work and go for a massage that I was gifted as a xmas present.

Chimeraforce · 13/02/2021 21:44

Tk maxx

gracelessladyhottramp · 13/02/2021 21:49

Hobby craft!!

tinkerbellla · 13/02/2021 21:50

Another one for Zara!

Wherediditgo · 13/02/2021 21:50

A book shop for me. I have a Waterstones voucher I’m itching to spend.

Also just travelling a little further to some big country parks for a good hike!

Wherediditgo · 13/02/2021 21:51

What a lovely thread Smile

Volcanoexplorer · 13/02/2021 21:55

None. Shopping has been ruined now you can’t try stuff on. Hate the faff of buying loads of sizes and taking stuff back. I also used to love makeup shopping. I could spend hours trying bits out in John Lewis and Harvey Nichols, but that’s gone now too.

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 13/02/2021 22:27

The Range Grin

(Dare not go near the place at the moment in case accused of buying non essentials)

TulipsDaffodils · 14/02/2021 08:23

Those looking for a mattress, I love the Hovag from IKEA. So comfortable

Missushbb · 25/02/2021 15:59

@thecatfromjapan

John Lewis, charity shops and cafes.

I think I might cry when I finally get into JL again. I'll be running my fingers across the shiny surfaces of counters and stroking the escalator handrail gently and unobtrusively, whispering how much I've missed being there.

John Lewis closing really felt apocalyptic.

I can't wait for a wander round John Lewis then coffee tea cake in the cafe. Just picked up a click and collect from Dunelm, and thought how lovely it would just to wander around the shops and see things! And the smell of a coffee shop!
AnExcellentWalker · 25/02/2021 16:13

TK Maxx. DD is so tall now (she’s nearly 9)
but very tall) that we’re struggling for clothes. Age 11-12 clothes are ok but there’s a limited range that are affordable, a lot of shops don’t seem to stock anything. I’m hoping we can start getting her some ladies size 6 stuff. Plain t-shirts, stretch fit tunic dresses etc. I can sew so can shorten the sleeves etc if they’re too long.

Also, she needs new shoes. She’s down to one pair, & they only fit because we deliberately bought them too large last summer. I swear I can see her growing.

BumpLoading · 25/02/2021 16:16

Clarks! I've never actually shopped in one but my toddler started walking over this lockdown and it's so hard finding shoes to fit his fat little feet!
I can't wait to do the motherly thing of taking him to get his feet measured and then choose some shoes which fit him nicely Grin
