Will you be heading to the shops on 15th June?

I am at mid risk of complications due to Covid. Obese and BAME. So even with a mask I think I would be so anxious going to the shops. We also have a high death rate in our area. I'm not sure of the infection level.

Will you be returning to the shops? I worry about toilets and sanitary levels too.

Nope, and for the foreseeable future any trips I do have to make will be in and out for the essentials I need only. No mooching

I'm in no specific way vulnerable and no, I will not be going to the shops for quite a while.

No I don’t see the point I can buy what I need on line and shopping will hardly be a relaxed browsing experience with all the restrictions. You hardly want to queue for 30 minutes just in case anything takes your fancy!

I cannot see me going back to normal non food shops for a long time!

If I need something & that's the easiest way to get it, sure, I will.

No, but I’m someone who only goes to shops if I really have to under normal circumstances. Such a waste of time and money (parking costs etc). Definitely won’t be next week. Nothing to do with worrying about catching the virus, it’s just even less fun than normal.

I saw a video online of our local shopping centre - lots of things in place like one direction walk ways etc and markers outside shops.

I do want to support retailers - I'm trying my best to buy local - so fruit and veg - butchers - even birthday gifts from local suppliers (all delivered).

Because of my BAME and obesity I have tried to get click and collect when I can for other essentials.

There is nothing I would consider so essential that it’s worth dying for.
I have a shielded person at home and covid-19 would likely kill them.

No. I’ll carry on supporting the local businesses that are doing delivery or car park collection though.

I find shopping for the absolute essentials stressful enough, so going to the shops for a browse of non essentials won't be on my to do list for a long while. It's gotten my shopping for fun habit under control too.

No, just not interested in going shopping. It’s bad enough in normal times.

Yes probably. I’m not sure what exactly and I dare say it won’t be on the 15th but I’m looking forward to having a look around. I’ll probably take a look at Waterstones first.

In Wales the non essential shops still won’t be open, but I wouldn’t even if I was in England, it just doesn’t seem worth the risk to me.

Nope, but only because of the queues. I begrudging do it for the supermarket because it's food, but no way am I waiting outside Primark!

I really want to support the local shops in our high street but I'm nervous about the new rules that will be in place.

If there is a limitation on the numbers in shops, will it be obvious how many people are already in there? Not every shop will be able to afford an extra person to stand on the door policing it. If I walk straight in will I be screeched at for exceeding the permitted numbers? Or do I just stand outside like a lemon and wait for permission to enter? Will I only be able to go in shops if there is already a queue?

I buy all my books from charity shops, but will I be allowed to pick the books up and look at them without buying them? And if there is a queue outside I'm going to feel obliged to be in and out as quickly as possible so as not to inconvenience the people still queueing.

I know I'm overthinking this but I've got mild ASD and overthinking is what I do!

No because there are many who don’t socially distance ! ... it is really trying my patience and I’m a chilled person usually.
We go to local river and park and it drives me crazy that people just don’t observe it .... the shops will have many an argument i suspect

If I need something specific that I can't get on line then possibly.
I don't want to queue, not be able to shop with my partner or a friend, not be able to browse and have to follow a prescribed route arround a shop. Supermarket shopping if unpleasant enough without shopping for non essentials. No thanks.

No, I have saved so much money as I was a bit of a shopaholic beforehand. I’m going to use things I already have and only buy things I need.

My credit card is telling me that lockdown has been good for it and not to take it to a real shop. I do have an overwhelming desire to go into John Lewis and buy something, clothes, furnishings, kitchenware I don't need just for the sheer fun of it.

Not on the 15th, no. For no other reason than how busy it will be.
