Thanks everyone. Far is... a couple of hours' drive? Honestly not a clue how likely being stopped would be, though I'm taking some encouragement from @Smilethoyourheartisbreaking on that. DH (who does our shopping) says he hasn't seen a police car. All that said, DParents live in a rather touristy bit so if the police are checking anywhere, it'll probably be there.

I'll wait and see for the moment. (Got to have the 12 week scan without any bad news first.) I'm hoping if England do relax further, keeping the lockdown rules here might become unsustainable. But I'm not overly hopeful.

Lilac yeah it's great fun here. I live in one of the most overpopulated areas of my particular city. You can't even get a school place locally here it's that densely populated. I'm lucky that when I was leaving exh I knew the landlord of the semi I'm in now and he let us move in without bond or anything. The house is lovely but sheesh I can't wait to move to an area less... crappy!! That was supposed to be the New Years plan now my eldest DC have their own places and are settled. Gee thanks 2020 for putting the kibosh on that one!!

The lady who delivers horse poo to our allotment field has said I can have the next three loads free. That is 3 tons of the stuff (I shit you not but am hoping the horses will!).

Killed millions in town today. Zillions even. We got a ton of crap from Poundland and the queue was huge by the time I'd finished faffing with the self service checkout that just didn't seem to like anything I scanned or my bags for life. Bet they loved me

Sorry I'm a city girl. However, if grandma was still alive she'd share your excitement. She used to gather it up and use it to patch cracks in the walls of the house.

Did your grandma have a cob house by any chance @Princess? I know some of those were made with horse (and other animal) poo.
