Is there any point anymore?

Fuck no.

DroppedBoxxedRuth · 03/04/2020 07:00

Yes. Although I'm only washing my hair every 3 or so days as I can't be arsed and I'm not wearing any make up, only spf 50 moisturiser (in Aus).

Emcont · 03/04/2020 07:01

Nope Grin

PandaMa · 03/04/2020 07:01

I lasted five days then stopped wearing my bra to work from home. This week I am changing from night jammies to day jammies Blush

SinglePringle · 03/04/2020 07:01

Yes. I shower every morning and get dressed and put a minimal face on. I like to differentiate between day / evening. Mostly sweatshirts and leggings / gym wear (I’m working out at home and going for a bike ride every day) but never staying in pjs all day.

thatmustbenigelwiththebrie · 03/04/2020 07:01

I am wearing a t shirt (no bra) and jogging bottoms. I change these for pj bottoms at night. No make up.

KatherineJaneway · 03/04/2020 07:03

Yes, I am trying to have some semblance of routine so I get up, get washed and dressed and put some make up on and I use the camera on my laptop for Skype calls.

I've heard of people who plan to learn languages or paint flowers etc. To me, if I can wash, smell nice, get through the day it is a successful day.

Tableclothing · 03/04/2020 07:03

Yes, definitely, always. I've had problems with depression and anxiety in the past and not getting up and dressed is linked for me with feeling worse.

Whattodo121 · 03/04/2020 07:04

Shower every morning, get dressed and put a bit of make up on. Need to make difference between day and night!

PlywoodPlank · 03/04/2020 07:05

Yes.

Oysterbabe · 03/04/2020 07:05

I am but at lunchtime. I'm in the market for some new lounge wear though.

inwood · 03/04/2020 07:05

Yes! I feel grotty if I don't.

TeapotCollection · 03/04/2020 07:06

Day jammies all the way for me, my tits will probably be down to my waist by June 😂

butteredbarmbrack · 03/04/2020 07:06

Yes, definitely. Up, showered and dressed. Make up on days I'm working (from home). My shoes aren't getting much wear, though!

madcatladyforever · 03/04/2020 07:06

Yes it's very important to get up and have a routine. I go to work anyway everyday but at weekends I get up early, put makeup on. A tracksuit and comfy bra and get cracking on house administration and various projects. Same when I have time off. Otherwise one day you slides into another and nothing gets done.

Nuttyaboutnutella · 03/04/2020 07:07

Yep, up and dressed every morning, bit of make up, then down for breakfast.
It helps me feel better and more productive. I did the same when I was in hospital after both of my kids.

Noneyerbuisness11234 · 03/04/2020 07:08

I am it's more for routine with my 11 month old we're up from 6 get washed and dressed around 9 but no makeup (I don't normally wear it lol) go for a walk around lunchtime

sonicshoegazes · 03/04/2020 07:08

I'm still getting dressed but only into comfy clothes really, lounge type stuff-joggers and over sized tops etc.

I do end up in pjs by about 4/5 though. Im not going anywhere as I'm high risk but if I wear pjs all day I feel crappy.

Verily1 · 03/04/2020 07:10

I’m only getting dressed if I’m going out.

And by dressed I mean put a bra on.

I sleep naked so put my jammies/ loungewear on in the morning- getting 3 days wear out of them. Hair’s in a bun and can get washed once a week. I’m putting moisturiser on but no make up.

Orchidflower1 · 03/04/2020 07:11

Getting showered and dressed each day. As a pp said I think I’d slide further into anxiety and depression if I didn’t.

ColdTapwater · 03/04/2020 07:13

Yep, nothing fancy - Just leggings, vest tops and slouchy cardigans! Washing my hair less and rarely wear make up though.

MinesAPintOfTea · 03/04/2020 07:14

Yes, but into "day PJ's" of leggings and a long-line t shirt. I can't work in my PJs all day, and like to be able to potter in and out of the garden etc

Hooleywhipper · 03/04/2020 07:14

Yes I am still showering and dressing , not bothering with make up and clothes are very casual. I’m wfh so feel ready to do that if I shower first.
Like others have said it helps my mental state to feel productive.

Casino218 · 03/04/2020 07:15

Yes from the waist up! Conference calls and all that!

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 03/04/2020 07:16

Yes I have to shower and get dressed every day otherwise my mental health suffers.
