Delay in today's numbers

Unless I'm being really stupid, it doesn't look like the numbers have been updated for today, it still says 24th March

www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public

Not seen any reasons as to why they are delayed?

It can’t be 414 for the Uk, we are already at 435!

Miriel · 25/03/2020 20:37

The figure of 20 serious cases is horribly out of date. A report was published on the 'first 196' critical cases and there must be considerably more by now.

PrettyLittleLiar20 · 25/03/2020 20:38

1 more must have just died because it now days 29 deaths in U.K.

ShellsAndSunrises · 25/03/2020 20:38

It’s 414 deaths for England, total. 28 new deaths today.

Eggcited · 25/03/2020 20:38

If it's 28 total then I'm wondering why there was a huge delay in releasing them.

TexasTina · 25/03/2020 20:38

I wonder if the number is lower because less people have been tested?

Littlebelina · 25/03/2020 20:38

414 appears to be total England deaths to date, 28 today I think

defthand · 25/03/2020 20:38

But there were already 435 deaths prior to England’s numbers.

PrettyLittleLiar20 · 25/03/2020 20:39

Well I’m watching bbc news live now and this is the screen? I don’t get it.

Delay in today's numbers
ClashCityRocker · 25/03/2020 20:39

Was 435 not the total for the whole of the UK?

Bluntness100 · 25/03/2020 20:39

That means a total of 41 deaths for the Uk? Less than half of yesterday?

H1978 · 25/03/2020 20:39

Doesn’t sound right but I hope it is

PrettyLittleLiar20 · 25/03/2020 20:40

Oh yes it says England. So 414 are in England the rest in the other countries. So really not that much of a climb in 24 hours.

ElatedDragon · 25/03/2020 20:40

Really? That has gone down a huge amount... Thank fuck. Please let it keep going down like that.

Bluntness100 · 25/03/2020 20:40

414 is England, not the Uk. The Uk includes Scotland wales and Northern Ireland as well as England.

Littlebelina · 25/03/2020 20:40

435 was UK not england

Sux2buthen · 25/03/2020 20:40

How many yesterday? This is strange, not that I'm an expert

ElatedDragon · 25/03/2020 20:41

That could mean today, or all time though - that screenshot doesn't have the time frame on it :(

Eggcited · 25/03/2020 20:41

I may have missed it, but have they released the new test figures?

Itwasntme1 · 25/03/2020 20:42

@Bluntness100 biggets daily increase in Northern Ireland by far.

Over 30% increase for wales. Not sure if there has ever been a jump bigger tHan 150 new cases in wales, but percentage seems high????

But maybe were expecting an even steeper climb for these regions today?

WhatAboutMeeee · 25/03/2020 20:42

I'm really confused, will the figure they release today be yesterday's deaths as today isn't over

Cary2012 · 25/03/2020 20:42

28 rise in England, new England total 414

Peapod29 · 25/03/2020 20:42

That would be great if it were going down, but it does strike me as a bit odd given the massive rise yesterday. 🤞

Knocksomesense · 25/03/2020 20:42

Hmm. Based on previous, ie Italy. Those figures are not accurate

Cornishclio · 25/03/2020 20:42

39 today for UK.
