@Bunnyflop It sounds silly but have you tried eating bananas for your restless legs? My Nan has that and they say the potassium in bananas are really good for taking that sensation away. It worked when I was pregnant but it might be something to try and good luck Thanks

Benji13 · 02/04/2020 08:00

Good luck Bunny!
Well done getting the delivery slots too - fabulous.
My lovely cousin dropped in some supplies to us last night - and to my mum - so welcome and included a bloody big bar of dairy milk!! We are pretty well stocked now and I’ve been touched by the friends offering to help us and mum and dad.
I struggled to sleep again last night so may well resort to nytol tonight.

@Bunnyflop let us know if it works Grin

gingerbreadslice · 02/04/2020 08:15

I'm going to sainsburys later do you think I'd get in trouble if I bought some presents whilst I'm there for my DDs birthday and a few Easter eggs? I was to nervous last time to go down the toy aisle Shock

Inkpaperstars · 02/04/2020 08:18

Oh my gosh those wabbits Smile

foxessocks · 02/04/2020 08:22

gingerbread no it's absolutely fine, dh bought loads of Easter eggs and little Easter chick things for the dc when he went, he also bought all the essentials so I really don't see an issue!! I want my dc to have a happy Easter Smile go for it X

ExpletiveDelighted · 02/04/2020 08:30

We'll be buying Easter eggs with the next supermarket shop. Although there was a bit of a storm on local FB when someone moaned that item limits meant she was going to have to make several trips out in order to buy 5 each for her DCs.

Good luck Bunny!

I had restless legs when I was pregnant and was told to eat bananas. I think it’s the potassium? Definitely worth a try anyway.

gingerbreadslice · 02/04/2020 08:43

@ExpletiveDelighted Five each that is mad!

@foxessocks I think I'll get them then I was going to do them an Easter egg hunt this weekend as they keep telling me I'm so boring, so I'll do that for them keep them busy, might be able to actually enjoy a cofee whilst they look Grin

Asgoodasarest · 02/04/2020 09:19

If it helps anyone I’m pretty sure the Tesco update email said they weren’t limiting Easter eggs. They’d bought the stock in before lockdown and I imagine they’ll want it all gone.

Alsohuman · 02/04/2020 09:37

Good luck, Bunnyflop, you’re really brave doing it now. And thank you for another lovely rabbit picture.

It’s a lovely morning here and the sun’s out again, it’s cheered me up no end. Much needed, because I made the mistake of reading the papers. I won’t do that again in a hurry!

Who’d ever have thought there’d be a deletion on this thread? It’s a funny old world as someone I wouldn’t wish to emulate once said.

ExpletiveDelighted · 02/04/2020 09:39

That person was spamming lots of threads with random rude comments, it wasn't directed at this one in particular.

Alsohuman · 02/04/2020 09:48

Good, I was horrified that someone would post anything delete worthy here.

DaffodilThatch · 02/04/2020 09:59

Grin thanks @Alsohuman I can taste them already!

I'm so tired today, we tried moving the baby to her own room but she's waking loads and will only settle if I take her into bed with me. My older one was the same, and she still doesn't sleep brilliantly (she's 3.5!). I need to do something different this time as when I start work in September I have quite a long commute two days a week and I honestly feel like it would be dangerous to drive at the moment. Anyway, nice to be worried about something else I suppose!

Thanks for the bunny photos, good luck @Bunnyflop.

Millie2013 · 02/04/2020 10:36

The current situation is sure bringing out the crazies!

I’ve just had a huge box of beads delivered. Just having a cuppa, then I get to make stuff while DD does schoolwork

Arcadia · 02/04/2020 11:09

I really need a hug today ☹️

Bunnyflop · 02/04/2020 11:13

I’m sending you a hug @arcadia and some Flowers

Arcadia · 02/04/2020 11:18

Thank you @Bunnyflop, it means a lot.
I have been so strong and positive but work issues causing me extra stress... long story.
The final straw - this morning I received my box of meals i'd been looking forward to all week and there was a broken egg inside that had gone all over everything and it tipped me over the edge. It's the small things!

Millie2013 · 02/04/2020 11:20

Hugs, Arcadia Flowers

Arcadia · 02/04/2020 11:22

Thanks @Millie2013, this thread is my refuge. So emotional today you're making me tearful!

Bunnyflop · 02/04/2020 11:22

Yes it can be hard to cope with day to day frustrations right now. Hope your day gets better. Any chance you can enjoy the sunshine for a little while or have a nice bath?

Arcadia · 02/04/2020 11:24

Hi @Bunnyflop about to have a one on one virtual PT session with my fitness class guy so that might perk me up!
