I need one loo roll a day

So I have been keeping track of it. I need one a day (if I'm working from home) and more when on my period.

My friend lives in a houseshare with two other people. She says they have 16 rolls at home, which is more than enough. She says that will last them a long time. How?

10 wipes at 4 fresh sheets per wipe?! And then another wipe? Holy hell. What are you shitting? What are you eating that it sticks to the toilet bowl so much you need to put loo roll down to avoid it touching the bowl rather than use a toilet brush?

I'd say 4 of us use 5, maybe 6, rolls a week during school holidays, 3/4 rolls when the DC are in school.

Two of us have periods, mine are really heavy, and I have bad IBS and drink a lot so wee frequently. We don't have any rules about how much to use, just be sensible and make sure you are clean, if we were going through more than a roll a day between 4 of us when DC are home, or more than 1 roll over 2 days when they are in school, then I'd be trying to find out how/why

Oh right, so you don't share one cloth then. I could live doing that. I grew up in a country where we didn't flush paper, we binned it so not particularly squeamish.

We are a family of 3 we go through one a day too however I suspect this is because we use.Really cheap thin loo paper our old pipes don't seem to be able to handle anything else.

When I was single, one loo roll lasted me almost a week, about 6 and a half days!

If you brought a thing of loo rolls from Costco. One roll had 445 sheets. You use 20 sheets per shit. Which means that one whole carton of loo roll for you to use in 14 days. Would mean 182 shits per day.

We go through a roll a week for 2 adults. I'm going to blow some people's minds by mentioning the words "family cloth". It's what we'll do if we run out. We'll use our daughter's reusable cloth wipes and save ourselves some money! You must spend a fortune on toilet paper OP! I couldn't be doing that.
