Covid
This weekend will you be going to a pub or restaurant?
ooooere · 19/03/2020 18:08
I won't but a lot of people are saying they are and it's still open so they are going etc.
golightlytoday · 19/03/2020 18:09
Well they are then both a mix of utterly stupid and selfish.
chatterbugmegastar · 19/03/2020 18:09
People - some people - never fail to astound me with their utterly arrogant stupidity
Mlou32 · 19/03/2020 18:10
Absolutely not. I'm pregnant, so concerned for myself and also concerned for any other vulnerable people who I may pass it on to.
chatterbugmegastar · 19/03/2020 18:12
I wish there was somewhere to report these people to
The anguish their selfishness could cause !
GrumpyMiddleAgedWoman · 19/03/2020 18:13
No. Unless I go to our local with a two pint jug for some beer.
HerRoyalNotness · 19/03/2020 18:13
Nope they’re all shut. We might get a takeout though.
ooooere · 19/03/2020 18:13
A few of my friends are going on a pub crawl tomorrow night and I've had to stop replying as I'm annoyed.
My grandma is 97 and I'm terrified she will catch it from me.
If you can save lives why not do it..I don't understand.
TheGreatWave · 19/03/2020 18:14
Well no one is going to come on here and admit to it are they.
It's a shame though as it is my daughter's birthday today and we usually go out for tea and now we can't.
Gra18 · 19/03/2020 18:14
What is to report? It is the governments fault if they don’t want people to go maybe they should tighten their measures.
chatterbugmegastar · 19/03/2020 18:15
I agree. Nowhere to report them to. But I wish there were
P1nkHeartLovesCake · 19/03/2020 18:16
No, it’s supermarket trips only for us.
I’ve hate if my dc got sick as me & dh had taken them to a restaurant
FuzzyPuffling · 19/03/2020 18:16
No and happily, nothing round here is open anyway. So hopefully no one else is either.
tenlittlecygnets · 19/03/2020 18:17
No. We will be taking a picnic and going to a National trust property and social distancing!
Doyouthinktheysaurus · 19/03/2020 18:18
No.
I am a nurse working with a vulnerable group so no fun for me for the foreseeable future!
50but17inside · 19/03/2020 18:21
What do people not understand?! Every person who socialises unnecessarily/goes to cafes/bars/beauty salons/whatever is putting extra links in a chain of spread. You might personally not believe you will suffer badly at the hands of this virus but plenty of people will. The lack of intensive care beds and ventilators will mean that people will die.
Try to see that if your mum or dad has a stroke or a heart attack or a car accident and the hospitals are heaving with Covid-19 cases, and doctor numbers are down because they are ill too - YOUR LOVED ONES COULD DIE
Stop being so selfish and take yourself, your young children and teenagers out of the equation
ooooere · 19/03/2020 18:28
Just seen TGI fridays is closing and River Island
Maybe more places will follow suit
MillicentMartha · 19/03/2020 18:31
It’s my book club on Friday. Or it was, we’ve cancelled it.
RufustheLanglovingreindeer · 19/03/2020 18:34
Well no one is going to come on here and admit to it are they
I bet you a bog roll that someone will
Connie222 · 19/03/2020 18:34
No. And I can’t understand the mentality of anyone who would.
