Based on what I saw today, I think closing the schools at this point would be counterproductive, since parents don't seem to be keeping their children at home.

Report
Titsywoo · 16/03/2020 17:04

Are people actually going to do all this do you think?

PM: Now is the time to stop non-essential contact with others, and it's particularly important for over-70s, pregnant women, and those with medical conditions.
But my children are expected to go to school! How does that match up with my medical condition?

What is the point of telling people not to go to pubs etc but not actually closing them?

What constitutes a large gathering?
How many people have died today?
When are they going to close the schools?

Is pregnancy one of the high risk conditions where people need to self isolate for 12 weeks? Or should pregnant women just avoid all non-essential contact with people?
