@SomeoneElseEntirelyNow - plenty of people are asking questions on here. Not just me.

No. Would you send a child to school with a temperature even if coronavirus wasn't going around? Surely not.

hurryupautumn · 15/03/2020 19:26

@Ruddle91 - no.

It’s this kind of stupidity that spreads any virus.

hurryupautumn · 15/03/2020 19:27

@sunshinesupermum - her temp has been up and down

You don't watch tv, or read the news, or do social media...
how do you keep abreast of life?? Genuinely amazed, as I would hate to never hear or see the news. SM I could and do live without, but the news??
You did give me a laugh though OP, with " I thought it was just a virus".
You mean, like Coronavirus?!Grin

hurryupautumn · 15/03/2020 19:28

@Whatevah - I never said I don't watch the news.

Being one of a bunch of idiots doesnt make you any brighter, im afraid.

PeterPanGoesWrong · 15/03/2020 19:29

Not really sure how the guidance could be any clearer, yet here we are

Says all that needs to be said doesn’t it?

hurryupautumn · 15/03/2020 19:30

People are so vile on here. Calling me stupid and a moron. Take a look at your nasty vicious selves.

Isolation for the both of you for a minimum of 7 days. Do not leave the house.

Saladmakesmesad · 15/03/2020 19:31

But the scary thing is that for every one of these people who actually had to ask, there must be loads out there not asking any sending their kids in.

hurryupautumn · 15/03/2020 19:32

@blubellsarebells - nice

@hurryupautumn Glad that your temp is ok but keep an eye on it. Remember you can’t go anywhere or have anyone in.

Do you have someone who can drop bits off to you.

croon979 · 15/03/2020 19:33

FFS. And this is why we, as a nation, are in trouble. There are a significant portion of people that don’t bother to know the rules. You wouldn’t even send your child to school with a temperature under normal circumstances, let alone now. No wonder OP is getting blasted. If it is a joke, it’s not funny. If it is not a joke, I despair.

Witchend · 15/03/2020 19:33

Ok, wasn't sure if it was a viral thing.

CoronaVIRUS.... um... possibly a viral thing.

hurryupautumn · 15/03/2020 19:33

@Orchidflower1 thanks Orchid. I will do. Luckily I had a shop delivered yesterday so should be ok. We will manage. Xx

I wouldn’t send a child to school with a temperature at any time, why would you? Generally if you have a temperature you feel pretty unwell.

Advice is not to send them if they are showing any symptoms, this includes a temperature, sore throat and cough.

hurryupautumn · 15/03/2020 19:35

@Lovemusic33 it's been up and down.

This is why I would be checking every child's temperature in the way in and out of school every day. Because some people have difficulty interpreting the guidance, or think it's OK if the child seems fine in themselves or they feel using school as childcare so the parent can go to work is more important than everyone else's safety. I'm a teacher and I would happily be taking temperatures to protect myself, the rest of the staff and of course, the pupils.
