Boris is trying to kill off the old and infirm

"you will loose loved ones". Get over it. We are not taking any action to stop it. The old and vulnerable will die. 80% of us will catch coronavirus.

I do not like these messages. It's like he doesn't care about the elderly or vulnerable at all.

Is he trying to kill them off to make some savings in the NHS? It certainly feels like it.

AIBU to make this assumption?

OP: Relates to Boris, coronavirus and his policy to allow virus to progress at pace with no regard for human life.

Response from randomer with an axe to grind:

Lisa Nandy when questioned by Piers Morgan about men self identifying as women and then competing in men’s sports made me think Labour couldn’t be more daft if they tried!

Dope. What Piers Morgan and transwomen have to do with the price of chips I cannot fathom. Fuck off with your idiotic agenda.

Bluntness100 · 14/03/2020 08:35

Op. If you’re worrried about a loved one, you do understand you can take steps to protect her. You don’t need Boris to shut the country down to help you.

JeepersC · 14/03/2020 08:36

Maybe you would like to tell people how to vote?
It would fall on deaf ears alas. Hence our current position.....

MigginsMrs · 14/03/2020 08:36

To me Boris looked like a worried man the other day. He’s a cunt and he’s incompetent but he’s the democratically elected PM so as with Brexit we have to accept the British people knew what they were voting for.

I can’t stand him but he’s not evil, heartless, a murderer for gods sake.

CheekyMango · 14/03/2020 08:37

@CoronLona agreed

Dongdingdong · 14/03/2020 08:42

Take your heads out of your arses and look at figures....the number of cases occurring each day and the rise in numbers.

I’m looking at the number of deaths, as it’s the only reliable figure we have since we’re not testing everybody with symptoms. In the UK, 11 people (0.00002% of the population) have died in 1.5 months. It’s extremely sad for their families but hardly a cause for mass panic and hysteria.

I wouldn't be so sure. He would rather eugenically cleanse the country of the old and inform, than allow the economy to tank and look like he 'failed'.

JeepersC · 14/03/2020 08:44

Depends on how much value you put on a life I suppose.

JeepersC · 14/03/2020 08:45

You'd think he'd at least pretend to care? Lol.

It's like the British people are ok with him saying - a lot of you will DIE - because at least he was HONEST. Stupidity.

If you came across someone on the street dying and you could save them and did nothing, what would that make you?
A cold hearted cunt. That's what.

CoronaVera · 14/03/2020 08:47

He's not. But it will happen and we need to be prepared for it. I work in the NHS and have been flat out preparing for this all week and I'm not in frontline/ critical care services. So much work is going on to try to get us through this as best as we can like you wouldn't believe.

MigginsMrs · 14/03/2020 08:50

But this isn’t what’s happening. People are going to die. People die from awful illnesses all over the world all the time. We can’t save everyone. Even in China, suddenly being held up a a model country, people will still get it and die. Probably still are in huge numbers but they won’t want to admit that their measures aren’t working.

StandUpStraight · 14/03/2020 08:51

Some of you need to get off Facebook and Twitter and go and have a nice lie down. The level of intellect being displayed on this thread is staggeringly low.

But at least they are TRYING to curb the deaths! FFS. Boris could at least have feigned being human.

I am not just a number.

onlinelinda · 14/03/2020 09:20

I would like more action from him too. Along th WHO approach.

We just have to remember that even the majority of the sick and the elderly will
Live. We have to be as accurate and study based as we can be, to feel less fearful.

Bathroom12345 · 14/03/2020 09:21

Jeepers. You really have some deluded views. Who are you to tell people what to do, who to vote for etc. Why do you call people stupid for not having your views. Is it your way or the highway. As you can probably guess I voted Conservative. A friend of mine voted Labour. There is no way I would call her stupid. Neither would I try and convert her.

JeepersC · 14/03/2020 09:26

I wouldn't be announcing that myself Bathroom lol. How embarrassing!

MigginsMrs · 14/03/2020 09:27

Did I miss the bit where he came out all jazz hands and said “fuck you boomers, death is coming!”

To me he looked shaken, sombre and uttered a statement of fact. People will lose loved ones. No matter what he does.

LuckyAmy1986 · 14/03/2020 09:28

@jeepersc you aren’t coming across very well. There’s a hell of a lot of bile coming out of you.

JeepersC · 14/03/2020 09:29

People will lose loved ones. No matter what he does.

But he's not even making an effort to save lives! How can you not see that? You think Ireland can afford 3bn? Can they fuck. It eats up our surplus and will leave us in debt. www.irishtimes.com/business/economy/coronavirus-spending-measures-set-to-wipe-out-budget-surplus-1.4197925

LuckyAmy1986 · 14/03/2020 09:30

@JeepersC what is it you want him to do???

JeepersC · 14/03/2020 09:30

Where's the bile Amy?

JeepersC · 14/03/2020 09:31

Take the same measures other countries are taking.

MigginsMrs · 14/03/2020 09:31

We just have to remember that even the majority of the sick and the elderly will
Live.

Exactly. As long as they can get access to treatment. Which is why flattening the curve to minimise the impact on the NHS is so important so they can get treatment. But even with that treatment some will still sadly die.

LuckyAmy1986 · 14/03/2020 09:31

Erm cold hearted cunts, stupidity, telling @Bathroom12345 she should be embarrassed. Like chill a bit.
