So at the moment it's hand sanitiser, handwash and toilet rolls. What's next ?

Tesco this morning had plenty of everything apart from hand sanitiser. They HAD run out of Stilton though.... very annoyed about that.... I got Roquefort instead #thirdworldproblems

How do you panic buy fuel? Surely you can only use as much as fits in your car? Or are people likely to buy cans of it that they will likely spill tring to get into the car?

I called into Tesco today and nothing was in short supply. Full shelves of loo roll, beans, pasta etc. Didn't look for hand sanitizer as hand washing is more effective anyway! I'm almost disappointed I do think a few people panicking breeds it further, obviously no one here cares.

Night time san pro (the rest seemed okay)

I hope people aren't stupid enough to try to stockpile petrol. Its really hard to store safely and I don't think an increase in fires is going to be helpful.

It is Made in a region of Italy right next to the lockdown area. We get through loads so I am actually buying quite a lot ( you can freeze it after grating

Our store has no pasta or loo rolls. As I said before, latex gloves were also put and people were pushing around replies stacked with vegetable oil, tinned food and one man has enough fray bentos pies and crisps to last him until December.

No bread in Asda yesterday afternoon.

I liked a comment on my local website. In essence, they couldn't find any Paracetamol for toothache, so they made do with a bottle of wine. That's the spirit! (Boom! Tish!)

DownstairsMixUp agreed. I don't mind the preppers who've been buying extra bits and bobs one at a time for months but the people clearing shelves so that no-one else can get their basics are awful.

Went to Sainsbury's today and all the fabric conditioner was gone. No idea how that's going to help with coronavirus...

I'm going to stock up on ammunition next week. Enough deer, rabbits, pheasants & pigeons in the garden to keep us going for a few months. . .

My Ocado delivery yesterday was missing the gluten free flour I ordered (celiac in the family) and when I checked the Ocado site all varieties of flour were out of stock.
I managed to find some GF flour online but had to order 15kg!

why worry though? the shops will be stocked up again very soon

@rslsys I think it was the wild meat trade that started all this.

Went to Sainsburys earlier, no pasta, rice, tinned food was low, petfood, cleaning aisle very busy, no meds, not much sanitary products, no frozen peas. Oh and a massive queue to the petrol station.

Life hack - in the absence of soap and water, high alcohol hand gel, methylated spirits is full alcohol, is blue, tastes bitter, ultimately is cheap.
