Hairy I think they said the case at Royal Stoke was from outside of the West Mids. That in itself is odd, as it was a West Mids Ambulance in the photos I've seen

This is ridiculous. Either no new cases or so many new ones they don’t want to release the figure in case of panic?

The media are just running with ‘cases rise to 90’ like that’s the update for the day but they were just 3 cases from Scotland this morning. Hope they’re not trying to trick us.

In a bit of good news, I've done a really boring job that I've been putting off while waiting for the update! Perhaps if everybody else does a really boring job too it will pass the time - and we will have all been more productive!

BBC News are having a coronavirus programme at 4.30. Wonder if the new cases will be announced around then?

Hmm figures later this afternoon. At the risk of speculating... Could it be that they're also going to be telling us of action they're taking in the light of today's figures?

I should add I've not actually used a Windows OS for about 10 years.

Does anyone think govt will announce measures to contain when they release figures- like school closures or wfh? Maybe waiting for more people to already be home from school run first?

This obsession with finding out the numbers isn't healthy. What will you do when they announce them? What will change?

Look how long it took and how many cases they had before the Italians actually closed schools.

I cannot see BoJo doing that anytime soon.
