Do you think that French Arabs feel the same confidence as you do that Jewish terrosists if given the chance won't attack them too?

The only attacks French Arabs are at risk from in France is Islamic terrorist attacks.

We have all seen these attacks happen and unfold in France over the past decade.

It’s incredible that you actually believe anyone in France is at risk from Jewish “terrorists”.

Can you provide any more information on any of these Jewish “terrorist organisations” operating in France? Or are they just a figment of your imagination?

I thought we were talking about letting people into the country. So the Jewish terrorists who live in Israel. The ones who commit pogroms, burn people's homes to the ground and assault and kill people. They certainly aren't a figment of anyone's imagination they are a very real threat to Arabs. They too can get on planes and spread their vitriol. I would assume that the people on the Israeli cruise for instance who were chanting death to Arabs are Jewish extremists, do you think Arabs would feel safe around them?

I'm sure they could. But do they?

Yet when people protest it they are called all kinds of names. A cruise ship carrying people who see fit to chant 'Death to Arabs' was stopped from docking due to protesters and some posters here had a shit fit about it.

One person says something so all Gazans are banned = fine

Cruise ship with a lot more than one person chanting death to Arabs stopped from docking = antisemetic

The hypocracy is off the charts with some.

Glitchymn1 · 02/08/2025 15:33

Don’t worry, the U.K. will welcome her with open arms no doubt.

What has any of that got to do with France?

In France, there is a massive issue with Islamic terrorism. As well as the appalling number of people who have been murdered in these attacks, Jewish people have been specifically targeted and killed by Islamic terrorists in France. The risk is high.

There have been zero attacks perpetrated by Israeli’s or Jewish people against anyone in France. The risk is non existent.

France understands the difference, and what actually constitutes a risk. You don’t.

France are obligated to take steps to mitigate the risk to its citizens.

Arabs in France may or may not feel a certain way regarding Israeli citizens visiting the country, but that doesn’t change the fact that those Arabs in France are more at risk of attacks by Islamic extremists, than an attack by any Israeli.

I've obviously seen news reports about the ship being prevented from docking, but I can't find anything about the passangers chanting that?

I did read about the Israeli tourist who had part of his ear bitten off by a Syrian in Greece though.

Which Jewish terrorists?? Can you explain what you mean? Which proscribed terrorist groups are Jewish, where have they attacked outside Israel?

Do you have a link to the Jewish cruise that shouted “Death to Arabs”? Which terrorist cruise was this? I’m only aware of a cruise that couldn’t dock somewhere, I forget where, because pro Palestinians protestors were stopping it

Ethelflaedofmercia · 02/08/2025 16:51

they were stopping it from docking anyway - and yes that disgraceful because it’s punishing everyday civilians who wanted a holiday. Or did you think they heard from the land chants, then grabbed their flags and went to protest?

I don’t think @itt understands at all.

Some countries have racist. Christ look at the UK. But if immigration policies were based on racist citizens nobody would go anywhere.

Palestine is governed by an out and proud Islamic terrorist group. That’s the difference @itt. so when France have taken the risk to accept an evacuee, and that evacuee displays symptoms of terrorism (and if you want to check out what Nour A has done it’s readily available online, but she’s called for the murder of all Jews, in those words) they should be worried about their vetting processes

Maybe Gazans shouldn’t be antisemitic and this wouldn’t happen? Maybe you can’t always blame Jews?

LadyCankleOfGrantham · 02/08/2025 16:59

soupyspoon · 02/08/2025 16:55

That wasnt true though was it.

I’ve googled and can’t find a thing that says

  1. The cruise was a Jewish cruise
  2. The cruise was a Jewish terrorist cruise
  3. Jews were shooting “Death to Arabs”

What it DID remind me of is when I recently visited an Amsterdam museum about the Holocaust, and I read some translations from the propoganda and saw footage of what people were doing to ban Jews from everything. In fact the wallpaper in the museum is actually a timeline of the bans which showed it didn’t happen all at once but gradually. It so SO similar to what’s happening now, it terrified me. Banning holidays was one of them BTW.

@ittcan you show where you’ve read this?

No news story has referenced it, do you have a credible source?

People need to be careful about spreading misinformation.

Jewish terrorists? Get the history books and learn something.

Beachtastic · 02/08/2025 22:52

All that security at airports must be to stop Israeli terrorists!
Oh, wait...

This thread exists because an antisemitic has carried out their bigotry, in a host country.
Which is wrong and they'll be punished for it. It doesn't serve any of us well if we are all to be punished for the actions of our compatriots. I'm sure you'd agree with that but make exceptions for Palestinians

Edited

Migration is one area where being judged by your group is the norm not the exception though.

What nationality you are, how many compatriots you have, how they behave, and who your country’s allies are determine where you can go and with what hoops (for everyone).

True.

There's been a bit of a tendency here for some to deflect threads off topic by playing "but the jews" card.

Trying to get back on thread - what's happened in France is really simple:

Someone has been offered a way out of a grim situation, and in addition been given a place on a HE course. All they needed to do was get their head down, get on with the course, and STFU about anything political, at least initially.

Instead their almost immediate response has been to behave like a fuckwit and start gobbing off on social media in manner that contravenes national laws..

They"ve been shown the door and have temporarily at least screwed the scheme for othern asylum speakers.

There's been at least one thread asking why other nations haven't opened their borders to Palestinians trying to escape Gaza - here is an example, albeit on a small scale, of the why.

Liberals will always excuse behaviour, which doesn't align with their moral crusade of the day.
