Israel has been found to be committing genocide in Gaza by legal teams from the UN, Amnesty and Human Rights Watch. Israel has deliberately attacked MSF ambulances and clinics and the World Central Kitchen killing overseas volunteers including a British army vet.
See Amnesty video explaining below

Jewish-American Dr. Mark Perlmutter on what he saw in Gaza and why he believes it's deliberate genocide (warning - heart breaking)

On average one child is being killed every 45minutes. Over 100 were killed 18th and 19th March alone. There has been a total blockade preventing entry of food or medicine since the start of March.

Israel is an apartheid state according to the ICJ, UN, B'Tselem, Yesh Din, Amnesty, Human Rights Watch.

The British government is supporting Israel in this genocide with military recon flights and arms. Our government did not stop supporting White Apartheid South Africa until it was forced to by British people's outrage, and by the global boycott. It is time to do the same again to show that we do not accept genocide and that we really do stand by the values of international humanitarian law.

Dr Mark Perlmutter describes finding ‘distinct signs of genocide’ in Gaza

“Genocide was the overwhelming impression that I got.”Orthopaedics surgeon Dr Mark Perlmutter described to Democracy Now on Thursday that he found “distinct ...

Oh read the words

i don’t care what nationality the people are but 100
lives matter more than 24 lives and 1000 lives matter more than 100

only if you think one life is more special than another can you justify killing thousands for 24

and be truthful to yourself - those 24 are only hostages because of the thousands of Palestinian lives that have been lost to Isreali soldiers over the decades.

the actions of the isreali government created a nation of Palestinians who hate the isrealis because that’s what happens when your best friend is shot dead in front of you. Focusing on the festival is ignoring the starting points and the potential stopping points that have happened over the decades.

It's funny you should say that because the invisible man(?) in the sky was invoked a lot by hamasniks on 7/10. Though TBF you shouldn't assume gender because unlike Christianity it's frowned upon in Judaism & islam to try to personify the divine, you end up anthropomorphizing and attributing human flaws & motivations.

So you don't want the hostages returned. Israeli lives don't matter to you.

I don’t see where they said Israeli lives don’t matter or that they don’t want the hostages released. Was that post only visible inside your head?

I posted the image because there was a poster who repeatedly, explicitly denied that children were being burnt alive in their tents. A Twitter account Gazawood was linked to, this account explicitly works to say that Palestinians is Gaza are lying about their situation and most of what's happening is the equivalent of a "Hollywood" production.

Acts and statements like the above work to continue the dehumanisation of Palestinians and provide cover for the Netanyahu regime to continue their crimes against humanity.

Palestinians have continually asked us to say their names and tell their stories, it's why they livestream their situation. Sometimes a picture is worth a 1000 words.

By the way foreign papers and numerous social media accounts reported on Khaled Al-Zeinati. For some reason Western MSM didn't do the same, unfortunately they rarely tell us the named of Palestinians.

Why post this? Do you have his parents permission? Because it honestly looks like you're using this baby's death to make a point. Seriously bad taste.

Answered you in the above post.

I can’t see anywhere where you have said it isn’t. 🤷

So if anyone doesn't actively say they are against something, that means they must be for it and therefore deserving of insult? That must be exhausting, insulting everyone you meet because they havent condemned every bad thing in the world in front of you.

If you do have any empathy or compassion for the countless Palestinians who after suffering almost 80 years of forced displacement and mass murder are now being burned, shot, starved and mutilated by the genocidal state who is trying to erase them entirely, do speak up and correct us.

A Palestinian paediatrician was at work when she received the 7 charred, dismembered bodies of her children, burned alive by an Israeli airstrike on their home. 2 others still under the rubble.

Palestinian parents have been forced to display the photos of their dead children because ghouls in the media and in positions of power keep trying to downplay the genocide being carried out by Israel, with the complicity of the US, UK, Germany. This is the expert opinion of a UN select committee, Amnesty and Human Rights Watch, although the BBC (with a former Israeli soldier editing it's ME content) keeps trying to say it's 'debatable' or 'controversial' - it's not.

For those more outraged by a photo of a burned baby than by the fact that they baby was burned alive with the tacit support of their elected government - words honestly fail me. But history will not be kind.

@MNHQ why has this post about a genocide that the UK is being accused of complicity in, by 3 leading NGOs, been removed from the AIBU section where I started it? There are currently at least 6 threads on Ukraine in the AIBU section and several more about Trump and other politics. I started this thread in AIBU because it is a matter of national urgency, it seems like censorship/strange double standards that other political threads are left standing but this one has been bumped.

Edited

Can I suggest a break from mumsnet.com if you really believe the section your post is in on an internet forum is a matter of national urgency?

ThisNattyTurtle · 25/05/2025 21:06

The genocide we are complicit in, with the highest rate of child slaughter in over 20 years, highest number of killed journalists, healthcare workers, aid workers, is a moral emergency for this country (and the US and EU). (This is the opinion of the UN, Human Rights Watch & Amnesty international)
If your only response to that is to continue to deliberately mis-read posts, that's on you.

Ah, I see you edited your post. Makes a little bit more sense now. Not much though.
How exactly are you complicit? Did you decide where your taxes are spent? Do you work for an arms dealer? Do you chose where the IDF targets their attacks?
And how does the section of mumsnet that houses your post affect any of what happens in Gaza?
It doesn't. Its just a platform for you to talk about what makes you angry. But do continue.

I agree, some people just get a kick out of goading others and I would advise to just ignore them.

Are you saying the videos out of Gaza shown on the Gazawood account are faked by Israel and not made by people who are clearly Gazan?

The problem is not the dehumanisation of Palestinians (what does that emotive rubbish even mean anyway, everyone can see they are clearly human beings) it is what the purpose of making those videos is?

I for one have no problem in stating don’t believe a word that comes out of Gaza, the only weapon Palestinians have against Israel is propaganda so that is just logic to me, just the same as many vociferous anti Israel posters state that they don’t believe a word the IDF or Israel says. They aren’t jumped on as ‘dehumanising Israelis’ by Israel supporters.

Only issue with that is that Israel has more to lose by lying. No one cares when Palestinians lie as to most pro-Palestinians they have no accountability or responsibility for anything at all! Including voting in a terrorist organisation as their government, participating in and cheering an actual genocide, and so starting a war causing massive suffering for their children.

Untrue- the Israeli government has proved again and again that they have absolutely nothing to lose by lying.
They lied about deliberately bombing hospitals
They lied about deliberately bombing schools
They lied about killing aid workers
They lied about their motivations and intentions
They lie and they lie and they lie

Dehumanisation means that people try to take away the humanity of a person - to make them less than human. It’s what happened in the slave trade

means that sone people consider some humans as more worthwhile than others so they try to make those others seem less than human. One way to humanise a person is to give their names. Another way is to focus on a small number of victims. To tell one persons story is more powerful than showing a thousand bodies sometimes. Because they bodies are just bodies not humans with lives and dreams and loves.

isreal has dehumanised Palestinians- treating them all as terrorists even the babies. The stories of the Palestinians are hard to discover - no one really knows who has die. Bet you could find a list of every Israeli who has died

And not a mention of the terrorists who rampaged through a festival shouting about killing Jewish dogs?

The dehumanization goes both ways. Please don't one side it like that. Thats how we got here.
