I don't remember and it doesn't show what was edited. Mnhq edited title apparently. No idea why though.

I did wonder...

The more I'm reading about it the angrier I feel.

Those terrorists kidnapped and murdered these babies and their mum. They were innocent tiny children. I can't imagine how Shiri felt clutching them tight. The level of pure evil is just like the Nazis.

Hamas has shown the world who they are and what they stand for. I see it clearly. I hope everyone else does too.

Shiri, Ofir and Kfir. We will never forget you.

May those pieces of shit who kidnapped and murdered you and tortured your father and husband rot in hell.

If anyone dares to justify or explain away what these bastards did to these babies and their mum then they need to take a long hard look at themselves.

Too late to edit but out of respect:

Shiri Kfir and Ariel. We will never forget.

Mum and the two boys haven’t been far from my thoughts …. You know I’m not giving up hope they maybe just maybe they are still alive .. terrorist take delight in creating terror … I feel very sorry for the whole family. I’m worried that a restart of the war will erupt and more kids will be killed and the cycle just continues and Hamas will hid in their tunnels

Because you originally said something along the lines of "Hamas have released." Looks like MN have changed it to "to be released"

Thank you, I couldn't remember. I think they are to be released tomorrow (Thursday).

I don't know the truth of it but apparently Hamas offered to give the bodies back months ago - like end 2023/ early 2024 but Israel refused

I wonder if there will be a reckoning for Israeli politicians at the end of this that hostages could have been released earlier had previous negotiations not collapsed - especially the poor Bibas family

You do you I guess.
But I'd be ashamed to attempt such a crass deflection

I would say 'how could you' but the lengths posters go to on here to deflect means it's no longer a shock.

I have to call it out though. I see you now. I've had my eyes opened and wish all my Jewish neighbours peace from these comments. From those who cannot acknowledge their suffering or wave away their concerns.

This thread is about 2 babies and their mum. The reason they are dead is because of terrorists. The terrorists are to blame.

Scirocco · 19/02/2025 14:59

And about their dad. No father should have to face this. I can only hope Yarden knows he is not alone in this, even at this time. Bereaved parents around the world will be beside him in spirit, every step of the way.

You don't know the truth of it, but you'd thought you'd voice it anyway. Maybe don't then.

Yes, the Bibas family, a mother and 2 small children dead and a father recently released from being a hostage. Taken from a peaceful kibbutz. They did nothing wrong. Poor family. I hope Yarden is looked after.

There’s no truth to it. Hope that helps.

Oded Lifshitz z"l is announced to be the fourth slain hostage whose body will be returned to Israel tomorrow. He was abducted from kibbutz Nir Oz with his wife Yocheved, who was among the first hostages to be released just over two weeks after they were taken. He was 84, and along with his wife volunteered with Road to Recovery, an organization of Israeli volunteers who transport Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank who need medical care to their appointments at Israeli hospitals. May his memory be a blessing.

It is particularly chilling to me that so many of those murdered and kidnapped were people trying to help their Palestinian neighbors and that information gained by Palestinian workers on the kibbutzim was used to enable that.
May their memory be a blessing.

A principled and brave man, who worked so kindly for a life-saving organisation. Road to Recovery was a lifeline for people in need, and greatly appreciated by healthcare services. Another hero and life-saver whose life has been lost to this awful war and the cruelty of terrorists.

Oded Lifschitz, thank you for all you did, and I am sorry.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. May his memory be a blessing.

Why are you blaming Israel? Don't you people ever let up?!

I remember the youngest boy’s photo being very widely circulated when they were taken.

Just such terrible, heartbreaking news to read now. I just put my own son to bed who I think is a similar age to how old that little one would be. It hits different now for me, now that I have a child. They’re so helpless, innocent.

I rarely become impacted by the news as much as this.

How in the world do people seem to pick sides in this awful, ugly, horrendous war? It seems like everyone sides with one or the other. All I see is the absolute worst of humanity. No winners here, just dead babies. Sickened.

May we merit to continue their legacy.

Actually I'm Jewish

And that was widely reported in several Middle Eastern media outlets

And I think many people wonder if their politicians could have negotiated hostage release earlier
