What has also made me so angry and revolted, beyond that grotesque stage set, is the footage of thousands upon thousands of Palestinians, lining the streets to cheer and jeer and record images of the coffins. They clamboured on the vehicles.
Despicable. Utterly morally depraved.

They voted a proscribed terrorist organisation into government. Their ethics and morals are in the gutter. How anyone can support them is beyond me.

Sadly, quite a few Gazan people seem to be watching, cheering and filming that horrible spectacle.

I simply can't fathom what stops so many people in the West from understanding the depravity and evil of Hamas. It couldn't be more clearly laid out before our eyes than through the events of October 7th and since, with the fate of the Bibas children a crystallisation of it all into one incomprehensible tragedy. It feels like a palpably deliberate turning-away from the reality of what Hamas has done and will continue to do.
