I haven’t followed closely, or researched, so rely on other people’s understanding.

Is that X account reliable and accurate? I know there has been so much propaganda it’s hard to know what to believe.

To be clear- Hammas are murderous animals and video makes it all too clear they are widely supported by ‘civilians’.

But is this X account truthful?

I don't know, @myplace , but the remains have been examined by forensic experts, who are (as I understand it) very noted and trustworthy. I suspect they will share details of their findings and will have to use supporting evidence.

It’s the official account of the IDF. The full statement also included this:

”We have shared these findings, intelligence, and forensics with our partners around the world so they can verify it.”

Since we know Jews are never believed.

Same as they had to share the appalling details of the savagery of the hamas violence on 7th October because people would rather take the word of terrorists who filmed themselves massacring civilians, than believe Jews.

It has been hard to know who to believe, with aid workers and journalists being restricted to the area. It has felt as though there was no onlooker to verify what was happening. But, how can you be an unbiased onlooker anyway after the brutality of October 7th and the terrorists own videos condemning them and the civilians that support them.

I believe Hammas infiltrated or successfully manipulated journalism and aid and the UN peacekeeping force. I believe they used the entire population of Gaza as human shields, and allowed the innocent to starve while feeding and protecting their own.

I just don’t take every post at face value without checking with people who know more than me. The disinformation campaign has been brutal.

I wonder if we will ever know what happened to their poor mother, it doesn’t bear thinking about.

I absolutely hate to say this but I really hope she is not alive. This is the only humane thing. Being an uninvolved bystander I am barely coping with all this news of the last few days. I cannot on any level imagine her level of suffering if she is still alive.

My only sense of hope (which is not the right word of course) yesterday is that she may have been with them holding them and comforting them when they all died together. All the horrific alternatives to this are playing out in my mind and it's too much to bear.

I cannot stand the vicious, lumpen unbelievably thick stupidity of the useful idiots of the west supporting Hamas. And don't get me started on the BBc refusing to call them terrorists.

Even saying that feels awful, but the prospect of her being separated from her babies who were horrifically murdered is so dark and indescribably awful that as a mother I would prefer the first scenario. I’m trying very hard not to think about it too much as it gives me actual pain in my chest to think of what they went through.

I feel the same. Sadly with everything that's coming out about her beautiful boys, I can't imagine the pain hearing it if she were still alive. It would be unbearable.
My boys are 4.5 and 2, and even the thought is too much.

This and the trans issue have made me feel politically homeless as a lefty liberal type. I've never been a fan of winged politics, but I know I'm not right wing despite what the left would now tell me.

Forensic evidence states the babies were strangled to death. Is it even possible a human being could strangle two babies. They can't be human.

I pray Shiri was either already dead or wasn't there to see this if it's correct.

I hope that what Hamas are saying is true, and the three of them died in an airstrike. Hopefully it was instant and they were in each other's arms and that due to the inability to identify Shiri's body they put the wrong body in the coffin. This is the best outcome in this utter nightmare.

I actually couldn't believe what I was seeing on tv yesterday. Absolute animals the lot of them.

There's reports from Al-Jazeera now that Hamas have handed over Shiri...praying it's true.
