After seeing that clip the other week of the two nurses in Australia smiling and threatening their Jewish patients it’s hard to tell whether people are trying to provoke or whether they just speak their mind because they’ve somehow come to believe that their views are perfectly acceptable.

And they got universally defended! In fact, many managed to shoehorn blaming "Zionists" for it, saying they were tricked or goaded into it.
I think people globally feel complete impunity now to say whatever antisemitic bile pops into their tiny brains.

I feel the same. I'm just an old lefty, a Labour supporter whose been on umpteen protest and peace marches over the years, but this is something else. Now I've fallen out with friends over the issue, like you say.

I agree, @FairyBlueEyes - but not just that - I have colleagues who think that Israel took over Gaza in 1948, and have no idea about Egypt's role. When I've asked about the River to the Sea, they've no idea which river or which sea.

Dear lord. Just when you think it couldn't get worse. Hamas are determined to break the ceasefire, aren't they? They cannot bear for there to be a peaceful agreement with Israel.

There's a lot of speculation that Shiri was split up from the boys after the kidnapping which gives me a glimmer of hope that Shiri could still be alive.

I truly hope she comes home alive and her and Yarden can find some peace. My heart completely breaks for them🧡
